At a glance
Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle sits at the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong Rivers, at the point where northern Thailand borders Myanmar and Laos, on a hillside above the bamboo jungle of the Golden Triangle.
The camp has 15 tents and one Explorer’s Lodge, accommodating a maximum of around 30 guests at any one time. Every stay is all-inclusive, covering meals, beverages, spa treatments, elephant experiences, and round-trip airport transfers from Chiang Rai International Airport. Arrival is by long-tail boat along the Ruak River, which sets the character of the experience before guests reach the camp itself.
The camp works with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation to rescue elephants from abuse or compromised circumstances, and the herd that lives at the camp is central to the stay. A Camp Host is assigned to each guest, curating the daily schedule across more than 30 available activities.

Accommodation
Bamboo Tent
The Bamboo Tent opens with a handcrafted teak door into a private sanctuary inspired by the culture of Northern Thailand, with rustic wooden furnishings, hardwood floors, a thatched roof, and a living area. Each tent has a private balcony, air conditioning, a minibar, and a custom-made wooden hot tub on the outdoor deck overlooking the jungle.
Elevated Tent
The Elevated Tent sits higher on the hillside with sweeping views of the surrounding bamboo jungle, a private veranda, a wooden hot tub on the deck, and the same Northern Thai design language as the Bamboo Tent. The position gives a broader outlook over the jungle canopy and the rivers below.
Explorer's Lodge
The Explorer’s Lodge is the most complete accommodation at the camp, with expansive living spaces, a private tree-fringed infinity pool, a lamplit veranda, and sweeping views of the bamboo jungle. It is designed for families or small groups who want the most private and complete experience the camp offers.

Spa & Wellness
The Jungle Spa sits among bamboo forest in two open-air salas, each with double treatment rooms, spa beds, a bathtub, and a shower area.
