Conrad Maldives Rangali Island occupies two private islands in the South Ari Atoll connected by a 500-metre footbridge, 30 minutes by seaplane from Male International Airport.
Rangali Island is the quieter side of the resort, with adults-only accommodation in its water villas, an adults-only infinity pool, a beach bar, and the Aaraha Champagne Bar.
Rangali-Finolhu is the main island, with the beach villas, family accommodation, kids’ and teens’ clubs, and most of the dining, including Ithaa Undersea Restaurant, the world’s first all-glass undersea dining room.
The Muraka, the world’s first undersea residence, sits on its own jetty with a master bedroom below the surface of the Indian Ocean.

Set along the beach on Rangali-Finolhu, with twice the footprint of the Beach Villa.
A separate living room sits alongside the king bedroom, and a private pool fills the terrace.

2 Bedroom Deluxe Beach Villa with Pool

On the beach at Rangali-Finolhu, this villa follows the Deluxe Beach Villa layout and adds a detached twin bedroom with its own bathroom at the garden end.
The main villa keeps its king bedroom and private pool.

Rangali-Finolhu has only two of these suites, and by floor area, they are the largest accommodations at the resort.

The Muraka

The world’s first undersea residence stands on its own in the lagoon, separate from both islands, with a private arrival jetty. It is built on two levels.
Above water, a king master bedroom with an ocean-facing marble bathtub and a twin bedroom share the level with the living room and dining room. A full kitchen and private bar sit alongside them.
The sunrise deck has an infinity pool and dining area. The sunset deck is set up for lounging, and the residence has its own snorkeling area and gym.
A spiral staircase or elevator leads down to a second king bedroom 16 feet below the surface. A 180-degree curved acrylic dome overlooks the coral nursery. The undersea level also has its own bathroom and a tunnel viewing theater.
A private butler is on hand around the clock, with quarters for the butler and a nanny inside the residence.

Dining
Twelve dining concepts give Conrad Maldives one of the widest food and drink programs in the Maldives. They include a wine cellar holding one of the country’s largest collections and a purpose-built cheese & wine bar.
Ithaa Undersea Restaurant serves a set contemporary European menu seven meters below the ocean surface, encased entirely in glass.
Ufaa handles modern Chinese cuisine with lagoon views. Sunset Grill is the signature open-air steakhouse for prime cuts and fresh seafood. Mandhoo covers all-day international dining on Rangali-Finolhu, and Koko Grill adds a Japanese teppanyaki option.
Aaraha Champagne Bar handles sunset drinks above the water.
Wellness
The Spa Retreat is a dedicated wellness island connected to the main resort, with couples massage suites, a tea room, sound healing sessions, and yoga and meditation on the beach.
Treatments draw on traditional techniques and natural ingredients, and the overwater setting gives the spa a separation from the rest of the resort that supports the focus on recovery and restoration.
Activities
South Ari Atoll is one of the Maldives’ top locations for whale shark encounters year-round, with the Conrad dive team running dedicated excursions alongside reef dives, cave diving, and snorkeling programs.
Coral planting, whale shark talks, big game fishing, tennis, and a nature jogging trail called the Rangali Run cover the land and water program.
A new padel court sits alongside the tennis court, and every villa now comes with bikes for getting between the two islands.
A dedicated kids and teens program runs structured activities across both islands throughout the year.
