Spread across two islands at the north-western tip of the North Malé Atoll, OBLU SELECT Sangeli is a premium all-inclusive resort from the Atmosphere group, reached by a complimentary 50-minute speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport. The main Sangeli Island connects by a string of overwater villas to One Banyan, a smaller adults-only island with its own infinity pool, restaurant, and honeymoon villas.
Accommodation runs to 137 villas and suites across six categories, from beach villas and family suites to overwater villas, with private pools in several categories and retractable roofs in the honeymoon villas.
The resort runs on the Serenity Plan, a premium all-inclusive package covering meals, premium drinks, the daily minibar, water sports, excursions, and spa treatments. The setup works for couples and families alike, with a kids’ club and a dedicated adults-only island.

Beach Villa
Beach Villas overlook the lagoon and the come with direct beach access. The interiors are chic and you’ll have a large open-air bathroom. Beach Villas come with a private 13m² pool!
Two Bedroom Beach Pool Suite
Two Bedroom Beach Pool Suites are ideal if you’re travelling in a larger group. They come with separate entrances, two open-air bathrooms and a spacious outdoor deck. The villas have a 13m² private pool and direct beach access.
Water Villas
Stretched out over the lagoon, the Water Villas give you the overwater bungalow experience. Each one comes with direct lagoon access and private decks overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Honeymoon Select Ocean Villa
A perfect luxury choice for a honeymoon in the Maldives. You’ll have a round bath tub, a 13m2 private pool, mirrored walls and an outdoor deck. This is a suitably grand villa to embark on your new life as a married couple.

Dining
The Courtyard handles all-day buffets with live cooking stations, à la carte plates, and traditional Maldivian dishes, while two specialty restaurants raise the bar: Just Grill for lagoon-facing seafood and meat grills, and JustWok for Pan Asian wok-tossed dishes and handmade dim sum. Sundowners belong at The Rock, a sunset bar with bean bags. For something private, Dine by Design sets a candlelit table on the sand.
Wellness
Wellness centers on ELE|NA Ayur, an oceanview garden spa whose name comes from the Sanskrit ayur, meaning life or longevity. The philosophy is nature-led: expert practitioners build personalized well-being plans that follow the body’s natural rhythms, balancing exertion with rest. Treatments are designed to reconnect you to the earth’s energy rather than rush you through a menu. For something more active, the ocean-view gymnasium and daily recreation round out the programme.
Activities
On the water, the resort runs diving courses for all levels, motorized and non-motorized watersports, and snorkelling straight off the lagoon. Boat excursions chase sunset fishing trips and pods of spinning dolphins, and guests can join the Muraka marine conservation programme to help protect the reef. Back on land, One Banyan is an adults-only island from sunrise to sunset, ideal for couples, while the kids’ club keeps younger travellers happily occupied.
