Milaidhoo is a boutique island resort in the heart of Baa Atoll, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, 126 kilometers northwest of Male and 35 minutes by seaplane from the international airport.
The island measures just 300 by 180 meters, with 50 private pool villas across beachfront and overwater settings and a protected house reef that completely circles the island. A strict adults-focused policy welcomes guests aged eight and above, and a no-drone policy preserves the quiet that defines the island’s character.
Ba’theli Lounge and Restaurant is the world’s only restaurant on a boat in a lagoon, serving gourmet Maldivian cuisine inspired by the ancient Spice Route.
The resort’s proximity to Hanifaru Bay gives Milaidhoo a marine access point that few Maldivian properties can match.

Water Pool Villa
Your stay here it sure to be special, enjoy the beautifully decorated bedroom furnished to a high standard. The en-suite bedroom has a bathtub and rain shower for you to enjoy. The best part has to be the private pool which leads on from the terrace area. Take a quick dip to cool off from the hot Maldivian sunshine! From the deck there are some steps which give you direct access to the lagoon and beyond.
Beach Pool Villa
Set on the white sandy beach and surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, these villas will give you a truly unique experience. The room is equipped with a beautiful king size bed, en-suite bathroom which is finished to a very high standard. The interior is designed with a local touch and modern themes, making your stay very comfortable. Enjoy the spacious wooden decking which has ample seating area. The terrace then leads onto a large private pool where you will be blessed with stunning beach and ocean views. The sea is only a short hop skip and jump away, so if you fancy a bit of snorkelling, you can roll out of bed and be there in no time!

Ba’theli Lounge and Restaurant is the centerpiece, the world’s only gourmet restaurant on a traditional dhoni boat moored in the lagoon, serving modern Maldivian cuisine rooted in the ancient Spice Route. The Shoreline Grill handles fresh seafood and prime cuts beachside, with a dedicated Chef’s Table and Wine Room. Ocean Restaurant covers an international à la carte above the water. The Milaidhoo Gourmet Plan includes daily meals and premium drinks throughout.
Wellness
An overwater spa with private treatment rooms looks across the lagoon, drawing on coconut, lime, and local herbs throughout the treatment menu. An open-air pavilion hosts daily yoga and meditation sessions included for all guests. A resident marine biologist leads guided reef experiences as part of the wider wellbeing programme alongside the standard spa and beauty offering.
Activities
The protected house reef circling the island is among the finest dive and snorkel sites in Baa Atoll, with dolphins, manta rays, turtles, and whale sharks accessible directly.
