Four venues each take their name and concept from a natural element. SEA is the standout: an underwater restaurant serving an a la carte menu with caviar alongside uninterrupted views of the marine life outside. SKY is the overwater observatory and dining venue, open for celestial dinners and sunset cocktails above the lagoon. FIRE is the beachside grill with open-flame cooking of fresh seafood and prime cuts. PLATES handles all-day international dining for breakfast through dinner with lagoon views throughout.
Wellness
The overwater Anantara Spa delivers treatments with marine life visible beneath the glass-panel treatment beds, combining traditional Asian techniques with contemporary wellness therapies. Signature Anantara rituals, couples’ treatments, and a comprehensive body and facial menu are all available. A fully equipped fitness centre, yoga, and a padel court sit alongside the spa as part of the wider wellbeing offering.
Activities
The Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve location places Anantara Kihavah within minutes of Hanifaru Bay, where seasonal manta ray and whale shark aggregations draw divers from across the Maldives. The resort’s PADI dive centre handles reef dives, beginner courses, and Hanifaru Bay excursions. Snorkelling from the house reef, kayaking, tennis, padel, and a full water sports programme cover the broader activity schedule. A dedicated The Reef programme connects guests with the marine environment through conservation talks, coral planting, and guided underwater excursions.
