Whilst LGBTQ+ rights vary from state to state in the USA, there are nationwide laws that protect members of the community from discrimination. Same-sex couples can also marry in the USA, and social attitudes are generally tolerant.
Today you’ll arrive in Boise, Idaho to start your adventure! Make your way to your starting boutique hotel where the tour will start in the afternoon and meet all of your fellow travellers you’re going to spend this journey with. If you wish, check out the exciting nightlife downtown where you’ll also find a variety of shopping and dining choices. You can also go an explore the Basque District where you can learn all about the mysterious Basque people and their culture.
In the morning you will be transferred to the starting point of your rafting adventure by taking a small charter plane and a shuttle bus. Before setting off down the river you will go through safety procedures with your dedicated tour guide and expert and complete a full orientation. Each day you can choose to kayak in an inflatable kayak, paddle with other team members in a paddle raft or to just accompany a guide on one of their gear rafts.
After enjoying a lovely breakfast in the morning you will depart down the river – this is where the fun really begins! Each day you’ll travel roughly 15 miles with a break, plus lunch and a snack afterwards.
This trip is designed for all levels of kayaker, so fear not if you are inexperienced! If you’re looking to relax then you can choose an oar rig craft to ride, however, if you’re more adventurous you can choose to go down the river rapids in a paddle boat – the choice is completely yours!
Along the way, you’ll see some beautiful sites and engage in some fun and exciting activities with the rest of the group. You’ll discover abandoned miners’ cabins, hot spring, waterfalls, pictographs and lots of wildlife during your time rafting and you can even go on mid-day hikes or play beach volleyball!
In the late afternoons, you’ll pull up to set up camp before enjoying a freshly prepared dinner and time around the campfire.
Once you’ve reached the end of the journey you’ll be flown back to Boise where you’ll check back into the boutique hotel you were originally staying at. In the evening, spend some time with your new friends on your last night and maybe even enjoy a few drinks out of the town.
Today marks the end of your journey and you must sadly say goodbye to your fellow travellers and make your way back to the airport, ready for your departing flight.
