Motu Nao Nao is a 75-acre private island on the lagoon of Raiatea in French Polynesia, available exclusively to one group at a time.
The island has four handcrafted villas, each designed around the natural landscape with custom furniture, panoramic island views, private trails, beaches, and docks throughout the grounds.
A private chef runs a seasonal menu built almost entirely from locally sourced ingredients, including fish caught in the lagoon, organic vegetables, and wild island produce. Further information
Dining

A dedicated private chef oversees all meals on the island, working from a seasonal menu where ingredients are sourced as locally as possible. Fish comes from the surrounding lagoon, vegetables are organic, and wild ingredients found on the island are incorporated throughout. Everything is prepared and served exclusively for the group in residence.
Wellness

Yoga, pilates, and massage can all be arranged on the island, with sessions set against the natural sounds of the lagoon and surrounding landscape. The pace of the island itself is a significant part of the offering, with private trails, beaches, and docks available for unhurried exploration throughout the stay.
Location

Motu Nao Nao sits on the lagoon of Raiatea, the second largest island in French Polynesia and one of the least visited by international tourists, giving the island a level of seclusion that Bora Bora’s more developed coastline can no longer offer. The lagoon surrounding the island is calm and clear, with kitesurfing, sailing, and snorkeling all available directly from the island’s own docks and beaches.
French Polynesia
French Polynesia is a French overseas collectivity, which means French law applies, the currency is the CFP Franc, and French is the official language alongside Tahitian. English is widely spoken across the main tourist islands and at all luxury properties. No visa is required for US, UK, EU, Canadian, or Australian citizens for stays of up to 90 days.

The Ultimate French Polynesia Grand Tour
Tailor-made HolidaySome destinations ask you to choose one experience over another; French Polynesia does not. This sixteen-day journey moves through five islands across two archipelagos, each with its own character and pace, connected by short inter-island flights, a scenic ferry crossing, and a private boat transfer. You will begin in Tahiti, the territory's cultural and geographic heart, before crossing the Sea of the Moon to Moorea, where jagged volcanic peaks rise directly behind the lagoon.

Bora Bora Snorkelling & Reef Trip
Tailor-made HolidayYour journey begins on Mo'orea, where a turquoise lagoon shelters black tip reef sharks, turtles, and stingrays within easy reach of the shore. From there, you continue to Bora Bora, where Mount Otemanu rises over a lagoon best seen from a private catamaran, glass of champagne in hand. The route continues to Rangiroa, the second-largest atoll on Earth, where the pink-tinged sands of Vahituri catch the afternoon light.

Secluded Tahiti & Rangiroa Tour
Tailor-made HolidayThis itinerary moves through three of French Polynesia's quieter islands, each reached only by boat or short inter-island flight, and each rarely appearing on a first-time visitor's itinerary. It suits travellers who have already done Bora Bora, or who would rather skip it, in favour of a slower, less-photographed route through French Polynesia. The journey begins on Tahiti, where volcanic peaks meet a coastline still shaped by the island's original Polynesian settlements.
