At a glance
The Beverly Hills Hotel is a five-star Dorchester Collection hotel on Sunset Boulevard, the pink-and-green Hollywood landmark known since 1912.
It predates the city of Beverly Hills itself and is one of the most photographed hotels in the world, all pink stucco and green banana-leaf print. There are 210 rooms and suites, plus 23 famous garden bungalows, some with private patios, plunge pools, and fireplaces.
Dining centres on the Polo Lounge, LA’s classic power-dining room, and the 1949 Fountain Coffee Room, a pink-stooled soda fountain, plus the poolside Cabana Cafe. A new cluster of bars and a supper club opens in late 2026. There is a La Prairie spa, a fitness centre, and the famous palm-lined pool and cabanas.
It is pure Hollywood glamour, with a long celebrity history and a kids’ programme. It suits couples, gay or straight, as much as a family stay. Rodeo Drive is four blocks away.

Accommodation
Superior Room
The standard rooms have the signature palm tree wallpaper associated with the hotel. Some have balconies. All come with marble bathrooms, direct views of Beverly Hills and ample natural light. The signature beds are very comfortable and come with bespoke cotton linens emblazoned with the hotel’s logo.
Bungalow Room with Patio
Bungalow Rooms come with a private patio opening onto tranquil gardens. The black marble bathroom shimmers in the bright light. You’ll be surrounded by 12 acres of tropical gardens. Ideal if you appreciate ample outdoor space.
Beverly Hills Suite with Patio
Did someone say bouji? Live like Hollywood royalty for the duration of your stay in the Beverly Hills Suite. You’ll have a large patio with garden views, spacious indoor and outdoor sitting areas and luxurious decor. The black and pink marble bathrooms are to die for.
Rodeo Bungalow Suite
If you have to ask you can’t afford it. These suites were designed for people who wanted to bring their own entourage – gotta have a spare bed for the nanny and the security guard. Hollywood royalty have stayed here. You’ll be part of a great Tinseltown lineage. If these walls could talk they’d have some stories to tell. The walls will absorb your story as well so don’t do anything too naughty.
Further information
Dining

Dining is part of the legend. The Polo Lounge is the center of it, an LA power-dining institution serving Californian-Italian food across the day, while the Fountain Coffee Room is a 1949 soda fountain with a curved pink counter, milkshakes, and apple pie. The Cabana Cafe handles relaxed poolside meals, and Bar Nineteen12 is the indoor cocktail spot. A set of new bars and a supper club is due to open in late 2026.
Wellness

The hotel’s spa is run by La Prairie, with massages, facials, and body treatments, and there is a five-star beauty salon and a 24-hour fitness center alongside. The heart of the place, though, is the pool, an oversized, year-round heated pool ringed by private cabanas, with personal service and the original sand-club glamour intact. The 12 acres of tropical gardens, full of fountains and citrus, are made for a slow morning.
Location

The Beverly Hills Hotel is on Sunset Boulevard, set back on 12 acres of tropical gardens across from Will Rogers Memorial Park. Rodeo Drive and its flagship stores are about four blocks south, with the rest of Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and the wider city easy to reach by car. Downtown Beverly Hills is roughly a mile away, Greystone Mansion is close, and Los Angeles International Airport is around 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
USA
Getting Around The US is best navigated by a combination of air and ground transport. Domestic flights are frequent and reasonably priced, making them the practical choice for covering long distances, particularly between the coasts.
Our Experts
The thing about the USA is that it's just so diverse. It doesn't matter what you're looking for, you can find it in the USA. I personally love San Francisco because it's hotels are arty and luxurious at the same time.
There's nowhere quite like New York for an ultra-lux city break. I always recommend visiting in December for the dream Christmas experience, complete with high-end shopping, Broadway shows and walks in Central Park.
Stellar service. Stellar products. Stellar people and it gets so much better when you pick up the phone and call.

Luxury New Mexico: Santa Fe, Los Alamos & Breaking Bad Locations
Tailor-made HolidayNew Mexico doesn't look like anywhere else in America, and it doesn't feel like it either. The light is different, the landscape is different, and the culture, shaped by centuries of Native American, Spanish colonial, and Anglo-American layering, sits apart from anything on the coasts. This itinerary runs three threads simultaneously.

Luxury Hawaii Adventure
Tailor-made HolidayEmbark on an unforgettable Hawaii island-hopping adventure combining the dramatic landscapes of the Big Island with the lush natural beauty of Kauai. Over the course of this journey, you’ll experience two of Hawaii’s most spectacular islands, where volcanic landscapes, tropical rainforests and golden beaches create one of the most diverse destinations in the Pacific. Begin on the Big Island of Hawaii, home to powerful volcanoes, black sand beaches and world-class marine life.

Aspen in Winter: A Luxury Gay Ski Escape
Tailor-made HolidayAspen is one of those places that rewards arriving with no particular agenda. It's one of the top luxury travel destinations in the USA. The skiing across four mountains is as good as anywhere in North America, but the town itself pulls equally hard: the restaurants are exceptional, the hotels are world-class, and the cultural life punches well above what you would expect from a mountain resort of this size.
