The world’s first gay superhero
London based group Shape History has launched a trailer to help encourage the big movie studios to portray LGBT superheroes on the big screen. Citing the fact that in the comic books Iceman, Mystique and Catwoman are LGBT but have been turned straight on the big screen, the social change organisation hopes to see an accurate LGBT portrayal in the near future. The campaign, entitled #LGBTSuperheroes, is the brainchild of Mike Buonaiuto.
