Day 1-5: Ubud
Start your journey in Ubud, the heart of Bali’s cultural and artistic hub. After arriving at Denpasar, transfer to Ubud and spend the rest of the day exploring local markets and the vibrant town at your leisure.
Immerse yourself in Balinese culture with visits to Peliatan Palace and the ARMA museum. Encounter Ubud’s sacred Monkey Forest and experience its bustling market. Marvel at the rice terraces, enjoy a trek through lush landscapes, and end your days with traditional dance performances and local cuisine. Visit the majestic Mount Batur, explore ancient temples like Gunung Kawi and Tirta Empul, and admire the breathtaking views at Kintamani. Discover traditional architecture in Penglipuran village and the serene Kehen Temple.
Venture to Kerta Gosa and the “Mother Temple” of Besakih on Mount Agung before setting off to Lombok.
Day 6-7: Lombok
Choose between a quick flight or a scenic ferry ride to Lombok. Spend your day unwinding on the picturesque Senggigi Beach.
In Lombok, you’ll also embark on a trek through Rinjani National Park’s southern slopes, starting with a visit to Tetebatu. Day 8-9: Gili Islands
Take a fast boat to Gili Trawangan, where a Cidomo ride awaits to take you to your hotel. Experience the island’s unique dining culture with beachfront movie screenings by night.
Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air each have a unique personality. Sail between each island and once you’ve landed, explore via Cidomo or on foot. Snorkel on Gili Trawangan and see the impressive coral gardens and (potentially!) sea turtles. Cool down in the crystal blue waters and relax on the white sand beaches of Gili Meno and Gili Air.
For divers, the Gili Islands offer an incredible experience and are one of the most renowned diving regions on earth and a great place to learn to dive if you haven’t ever tried.
