At a glance
Seminyak's beaches, a full Balinese spa reset, and some of the region's best dining, spread across eight days of bliss.
This trip is built around Seminyak, Bali's most polished coastal town, known for upscale resorts, a strong culinary scene, and an LGBTQ+-friendly atmosphere that has made it one of the island's more comfortable bases for couples.

Days are deliberately unstructured, a genuine break rather than a packed sightseeing schedule.
A two-hour spa treatment anchors the trip's early days, pairing traditional Balinese technique with natural, locally sourced ingredients.
A yoga class set against Seminyak's coastline adds a second layer of reset, the sound of the waves an easy accompaniment to the practice.
Seminyak's dining scene runs from traditional warungs to contemporary restaurants blending local flavors with international technique, and a culinary crawl later in the trip moves between several of the town's most distinctive kitchens.
Beyond the resort, a day trip reaches Bali's interior, where rice fields farmed under the centuries-old Subak irrigation system have earned UNESCO World Heritage status.
A short excursion to Uluwatu adds one more striking landscape to the week, with a clifftop temple looking directly out over the Indian Ocean.

Day by day
This is a sample plan, not a fixed departure. Days can be added, removed or reordered, and almost every client changes something. Prices are an entry-level guide; your quote will be exact.
Day 1: Arrival in Seminyak
Arrive in Bali, where a private driver meets you and makes the transfer to Seminyak, the base for the week ahead.
The rest of the day is left entirely unstructured, the easiest way to settle in after a long flight, whether that means an early check-in and a rest, a walk along the beach as the sun sets, or a quiet dinner near your accommodation.
Day 2: Seminyak and Uluwatu
A half-day excursion reaches Uluwatu, on Bali’s southern cliffs, where a clifftop temple looks directly out over the Indian Ocean from a dramatic limestone outcrop.
Long-tailed macaques are a common sight around the temple grounds, and the surrounding cliffs offer some of the best sunset views on the island.
The return to Seminyak leaves the evening free for the beach or an early dinner at your own pace.
Day 3: Spa and Yoga
The centerpiece of the trip: a two-hour spa treatment combining traditional Balinese massage technique with natural ingredients, designed to work out the tension of travel and ease you into the slower rhythm of the week ahead.
Later in the day, a yoga class set against Seminyak’s coastline offers a gentler, more active complement to the morning’s treatment.
Nothing else is scheduled today by design, leaving space to simply absorb the effects of both.
Day 4: Seminyak at Leisure
A fully open day, best spent however suits the pace of the week so far, whether that means the beach, the resort pool, or exploring Seminyak’s boutiques and galleries at an unhurried pace.
Many travelers use this day to explore the town’s design shops and art spaces, while others simply choose to do nothing at all, a rare luxury on most itineraries.
Day 5: Bali Lake and Hills
A day trip reaches Bali’s interior, where the island’s rice fields unfold across the hillsides under the Subak irrigation system, a UNESCO World Heritage site recognized for its centuries-old, cooperative approach to sustainable farming.
The cooler hill air and quieter pace offer a real contrast to the coast, and the drive itself passes through small villages rarely seen by travelers based only in Seminyak.
Day 6: Seminyak Culinary Crawl
A guided culinary crawl moves through Seminyak’s dining scene, from traditional Balinese warungs to contemporary restaurants that pair local ingredients with international technique, giving a fuller sense of Bali’s food culture than a single dinner could.
Expect a mix of street-side classics and more refined plates, with a local guide on hand to explain the history and ingredients behind each stop.
Day 7: Beach Day
A final full day at leisure, left deliberately open for the beach, one more spa treatment, or simply making the most of Seminyak before departure.
Many travelers use this last full day to revisit a favorite restaurant or beach club from earlier in the week, while others prefer to keep the day entirely unplanned.
Day 8: Departure
A private transfer connects to the airport in good time for the departure flight, closing out a week built almost entirely around rest.
Our Experts
Bali had a bit of a reputation as being a backpacker's paradise, and for good reason, but in recent years the island has been transformed into a playground for the wealthy. You'll find a dazzling array of luxury properties to explore.
There's a reason why Bali is such a sought after destination. The scenery here is second to none - and the hotels and resorts that can be found here are truly exquisite.
Stellar service. Stellar products. Stellar people and it gets so much better when you pick up the phone and call.
