This trip pairs the granite-boulder beaches and untouched rainforest of the Seychelles with the more developed resort landscape of Mauritius, giving guests a genuine sense of both islands rather than a single, narrower picture of the region.
The journey begins on Mahé, the largest and most mountainous of the Seychelles' islands, before continuing to La Digue, home to Anse Source d'Argent, widely considered one of the most photographed beaches in the world.
From there, a short flight connects to Mauritius, where the remaining days settle into the more familiar rhythm of resort life at Sugar Beach on the west coast.

Days 1-3: Mahé, Seychelles
Arrival on Mahé brings a transfer to a beachfront villa overlooking the island’s dramatic granite boulders, a geological feature unique to the Seychelles and unlike anything found elsewhere in the Indian Ocean.
The first days are spent exploring the island’s contrasts: dense, junglelike interior hiking trails through the Morne Seychellois National Park sit within a short drive of some of the region’s most photographed beaches, including Anse Intendance and Beau Vallon.
A half-day boat trip to the Sainte Anne Marine National Park offers the chance to snorkel over protected coral gardens, while evenings can be spent at one of Mahé’s beachfront restaurants sampling Creole dishes built around fresh-caught fish and locally grown spices.
Days 4-6: La Digue, Seychelles
A short ferry crossing delivers guests to La Digue, an island where cars remain rare and bicycles are the preferred way to get around.
The days here move at a genuinely slower pace, built around Anse Source d’Argent, whose pink-tinged sand and scattered granite boulders have made it one of the most recognizable beaches anywhere in the world, along with quieter neighboring stretches such as Grand Anse and Petite Anse.
Beyond the beaches, La Digue is home to a small population of Aldabra giant tortoises, some of which can be seen up close at a local reserve, and the island’s laid-back pace makes it a natural setting for slow mornings and long, unplanned afternoons.
Days 7-11: Mauritius
A short flight connects La Digue to Mauritius, where a transfer delivers guests to Sugar Beach on the island’s west coast.
The shift in pace is immediate and deliberate: after several days of exploration in the Seychelles, the remaining days settle into the more resort-focused rhythm of Mauritius, with its long stretch of private beach, manicured gardens, and full range of water sports and spa treatments close at hand.
For guests who want a final dose of activity before the trip closes, the Chamarel Seven Colored Earth Geopark and Black River Gorges National Park are both within reach of a half-day excursion, offering a last look at Mauritius’s volcanic landscape before settling into the final days of pure relaxation.
