Glide across Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake past stilted villages and flooded forest, with dinner on board as the sun goes down.
A Lake That Breathes With the Seasons

Tonlé Sap is Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, and it never stays the same size for long, swelling in the wet season and shrinking in the dry. Toward evening your private boat heads out across the open water, past villages built on the lake itself, before settling somewhere quiet to watch the sun go down.
Life on the Water

At Chong Khneas and Kampong Phluk, stilted homes and even a floating school line the water, whole communities designed to move with the lake rather than stand on fixed ground. In places, a flooded forest rises straight out of the water, its trees partly submerged through the wet season. Farther from shore, the sky opens up into a view that runs all the way around you.
No two trips we plan are the same. Yours will be no exception.

Out on the lake, the engine drops to a soft hum and the pace slows right down. The light moves from bright gold to deep orange as the sun sinks, and dinner is served on board, timed to the sunset rather than the clock.
Nothing to Organise

Transfers from Siem Reap or Phnom Penh are built into the day, so there’s nothing to arrange for a single evening. With a private boat there’s no fixed departure either: timing shifts with the light, and the seats and the view are all yours.
After the temples of Siem Reap, it shows you a completely different side of Cambodia, perfect for couples and friends. Your Out Of Office specialist plans it around your trip, and our Cambodia guide covers LGBTQ+ rights and practical advice.
