At a glance
Nukutepipi is a private atoll in French Polynesia, 6,000 kilometres from the nearest continent and less than 1,000 kilometres from Bora Bora and Tahiti.
The island is available on an exclusive-use basis and accommodates couples, families, and groups across three villa types: Bungalow, Junior Villa, and Master Villa.
The island’s cultural identity is central to the offering, drawing on Polynesian art, symbols, and traditions throughout the property. Activities span land and water, with the atoll’s primary forests, natural bird sanctuary, and white-sand beaches available to explore alongside the surrounding Pacific waters. Celebrations and weddings can be hosted for up to 50 guests in a setting that has no equivalent in French Polynesia.
Direct flights to Tahiti operate from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Paris, Tokyo, and Auckland, making Nukutepipi one of the more accessible private island destinations despite its extreme seclusion.

Highlights
- Exclusive-use private atoll with Bungalow, Junior Villa, and Master Villa accommodation
- Natural bird sanctuary, primary forests, and white-sand beaches across the island’s full grounds
- Weddings and celebrations hosted for up to 50 guests in a fully private Pacific setting

Experiences

The activity program at Nukutepipi covers land and water in equal measure. On the water: snorkeling, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing, Polynesian canoeing, coral garden tours, deep-sea and reef fishing, scuba diving, and whale watching from July to November. On land: yoga, tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, archery, mini golf, bird watching, outdoor cinema, Polynesian weaving, and pareo dyeing. A professional music studio with state-of-the-art equipment is available on demand and has been used by internationally recognized artists during their stays.
Wellness

A full spa is available on the island alongside yoga sessions, with the natural environment providing the wider wellness setting. The combination of primary forest trails, a natural bird sanctuary, white-sand beaches, and the atoll’s complete seclusion gives the property a low-key wellness dimension that extends well beyond the spa itself.
Location

Nukutepipi sits in French Polynesia’s Tuamotu Archipelago, 6,000 kilometers from the nearest continent and under 1,000 kilometers from both Bora Bora and Tahiti. All accommodation on the island faces the lagoon directly, with the Master Villa positioned at the heart of the island for panoramic lagoon and sunset views, and the Junior Villas at the far end of the lagoon for maximum seclusion.
French Polynesia
French Polynesia is a French overseas collectivity, which means French law applies, the currency is the CFP Franc, and French is the official language alongside Tahitian. English is widely spoken across the main tourist islands and at all luxury properties. No visa is required for US, UK, EU, Canadian, or Australian citizens for stays of up to 90 days.

The Ultimate French Polynesia Grand Tour
Tailor-made HolidaySome destinations ask you to choose one experience over another; French Polynesia does not. This sixteen-day journey moves through five islands across two archipelagos, each with its own character and pace, connected by short inter-island flights, a scenic ferry crossing, and a private boat transfer. You will begin in Tahiti, the territory's cultural and geographic heart, before crossing the Sea of the Moon to Moorea, where jagged volcanic peaks rise directly behind the lagoon.

Bora Bora Snorkelling & Reef Trip
Tailor-made HolidayYour journey begins on Mo'orea, where a turquoise lagoon shelters black tip reef sharks, turtles, and stingrays within easy reach of the shore. From there, you continue to Bora Bora, where Mount Otemanu rises over a lagoon best seen from a private catamaran, glass of champagne in hand. The route continues to Rangiroa, the second-largest atoll on Earth, where the pink-tinged sands of Vahituri catch the afternoon light.

Secluded Tahiti & Rangiroa Tour
Tailor-made HolidayThis itinerary moves through three of French Polynesia's quieter islands, each reached only by boat or short inter-island flight, and each rarely appearing on a first-time visitor's itinerary. It suits travellers who have already done Bora Bora, or who would rather skip it, in favour of a slower, less-photographed route through French Polynesia. The journey begins on Tahiti, where volcanic peaks meet a coastline still shaped by the island's original Polynesian settlements.
