Unfortunately, Morocco criminalises same-sex sexual activity between men and between women. LGBTQ+ individuals are also urged to practice discretion and avoid public displays of affection. While the climate is gradually becoming more accepting, especially in cosmopolitan cities, there have been sporadic crackdowns and arrests in recent years.
Overall, Morocco lacks progressiveness on LGBTQ+ rights compared to other destinations, though luxury hospitality businesses make efforts to welcome gay travellers. At Out Of Office, we only work with resorts and hotels that we know are inclusive and welcoming.
The Standard Farmhouse rooms overlook a palm-tree garden. They’re located in the courtyard in the shade of the Old Farmhouse. You’ll have an open fireplace and an intimate sitting area. The rooms have an en-suite bathroom.
The Farmhouse Terrace rooms are located on the ground floor. They come with private terraces looking out onto the gardens. The en-suite bathroom has ‘tadelakt’ plaster and a traditional Moroccan design.
The Prestige Rooms are more spacious. Located close to the reception, they overlook the courtyard. The rooms come with a separate dressing area beside the bedroom.
These Superior Farmhouse rooms are located on the first floor and they offer a spacious roof terrace. The terrace has excellent views of the Atlas Mountains. An ideal spot for a candlelit dinner under the stars.
The Atlas Rooms are decked out with elegant and classically Moroccan furnishings. Each of the rooms comes with a Juliet balcony with views of the Atlas Mountain, the gardens and the pool.
The suites are set within bungalows overlooking the gardens. They have open fireplaces and intimate private terraces. You can also upgrade to a Deluxe Pool Suite and have your own heated pool – perfect for a luxury romantic getaway in Morocco.
The Restaurant Capaldi
The food here is truly exceptional. In-house chef Mounir Hassan has worked in Michelin star restaurants, including Guy Savoy in Paris.
Breakfast on the terrace is a great way to start the day. You can go for a continental breakfast or choose something a la carte. You can go for a tapas-style lunch.
In the evening, you can really spoil yourself on a range of divine international cuisine. Hassan’s Michelin star skills will go down a treat. The wine list is also top notch.
