A journey built around depth rather than distance: three destinations, each given room to be experienced properly rather than glimpsed in passing.

Most journeys that link these three destinations treat them as a checklist of famous names. This one is built around a different logic: each stop is given enough time to be experienced properly rather than glimpsed in passing, and the sequence itself has a purpose. London provides the cultural grounding, Barcelona the architectural high point, and Mykonos the freedom of relaxation, each one offering a different register of luxury travel.

Three nights in London balance grand set pieces, including the British Museum, Buckingham Palace’s Changing of the Guard, and afternoon tea at The Savoy, with quieter corners like the Wellcome Collection, a Victorian explorer’s private collection turned museum. This is a considered introduction rather than a whistle-stop tour, with room to linger over Shakespeare’s Globe or have dinner at The Ritz.

Barcelona follows, built around Antoni Gaudí’s work: the Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà across a full day, then an evening in the Eixample, long established as one of southern Europe’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhoods. A quieter third day takes in the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Museu Picasso.

Mykonos closes the journey with a change of register. Where London and Barcelona are cultural destinations first, Mykonos is built for relaxation and is home to one of the Mediterranean’s most established gay scenes, centered for decades around Jackie O’s beach club. Four nights allow for both that energy and its opposite: a boat to Delos for a cultural counterpoint or the island’s quieter interior beaches to slow down before heading home.

In detail

? Don't forget that most of our itineraries can be totally customized. Our expert team will be able to talk you through all the options.

Day 1-3: London

Settle into The Rubens at the Palace, opposite the Royal Mews, for a base that puts Buckingham Palace within walking distance.

Days here cover ground deliberately chosen for depth rather than breadth: a guided tour of the British Museum, an afternoon following the Changing of the Guard up The Mall to the National Portrait Gallery, afternoon tea at The Savoy, and an evening at Shakespeare’s Globe before dinner at The Ritz.

A third day steps away from the obvious landmarks toward the Wellcome Collection and the British Library, both easily overlooked and both worth the detour.

Day 1-3: London

Day 4-6: Barcelona

At the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, on Passeig de Gràcia, the city’s architectural high point is within reach on foot.

Casa Batlló and Casa Milà bookend a walk down Las Ramblas, and a full day is given to the Sagrada Família, which rewards standing outside for a while before going in. Evenings shift toward Barceloneta’s beach bars and, for those who want it, the nightlife of the Eixample.

A third day slows the pace with the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Museu Picasso.

Day 4-6: Barcelona

Day 7 To 10: Mykonos

At the Myconian Korali, days settle into a different rhythm entirely.

Mykonos is not a cultural destination in the way London and Barcelona are; it is built for relaxation, fine food, and one of the most established gay scenes in the Mediterranean, with Jackie O’s beach club serving as its long-standing centerpiece.

For those who want a change of pace, a boat to the islet of Delos offers a genuine archaeological counterpoint, and the island’s interior beaches offer a quieter alternative to the ports where cruise ships call.

Day 7 To 10: Mykonos
