At a glance
London, Barcelona and Mykonos give you three very different versions of a European trip. Start in London with the museums, royal landmarks, theater and grand hotels. Then move to Barcelona for Gaudí, late dinners and one of southern Europe’s biggest gay scenes. Finish in Mykonos, where the pace shifts and the trip shifts toward beach clubs, sea views and long days doing very little.
You have three nights in London, with time for the British Museum, the Changing of the Guard, afternoon tea at The Savoy and an evening at Shakespeare’s Globe. The itinerary also leaves room for places you might not put on a first-time checklist, such as the Wellcome Collection and British Library, rather than filling every hour with landmarks.

Barcelona is more focused. One full day is built around Gaudí, including the Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, with another evening around Eixample and its established gay scene. There is also time for the Palau de la Música Catalana and Museu Picasso without experiencing museum fatigue.
Then Mykonos. Four nights here give you the island at a much slower pace, with JackieO’ and the gay beach scene when you want something social, and quieter beaches or a trip to Delos when you want something more peaceful. In essence, you get the best of Europe in one trip.
Day by day
This is a sample plan, not a fixed departure. Days can be added, removed or reordered, and almost every client changes something. Prices are an entry-level guide; your quote will be exact.
Day 1-3: London
Settle into The Rubens at the Palace, opposite the Royal Mews, for a base that puts Buckingham Palace within walking distance.
Days here cover ground deliberately chosen for depth rather than breadth: a guided tour of the British Museum, an afternoon following the Changing of the Guard up The Mall to the National Portrait Gallery, afternoon tea at The Savoy, and an evening at Shakespeare’s Globe before dinner at The Ritz.
A third day steps away from the obvious landmarks toward the Wellcome Collection and the British Library, both easily overlooked and both worth the detour.
Day 4-6: Barcelona
At the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, on Passeig de Gràcia, the city’s architectural high point is within reach on foot.
Casa Batlló and Casa Milà bookend a walk down Las Ramblas, and a full day is given to the Sagrada Família, which rewards standing outside for a while before going in. Evenings shift toward Barceloneta’s beach bars and, for those who want it, the nightlife of the Eixample.
A third day slows the pace with the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Museu Picasso.
Day 7 To 10: Mykonos
At the Myconian Korali, days settle into a different rhythm entirely.
Mykonos is not a cultural destination in the way London and Barcelona are; it is built for relaxation, fine food, and one of the most established gay scenes in the Mediterranean, with Jackie O’s beach club serving as its long-standing centerpiece.
For those who want a change of pace, a boat to the islet of Delos offers a genuine archaeological counterpoint, and the island’s interior beaches offer a quieter alternative to the ports where cruise ships call.
