You don't have to be a scientist to figure it out, but at least there's evidence to make you get #OutOfOffice
We have known it for a while and you don’t need to be a scientist to know it but setting your Out Of Office and getting away from your job is extremely good for your health.
A new study in the US has shown that by going on holiday or vacation you lower your risk of heart attack and depression. Living near a park also helps with individuals’ mental health according to a study done at the University of Exeter Medical School.
One survey shows that after being away for only a day or two, 89 percent of people are able to leave the stressors of work behind and relax. And in terms of day to day life, ordinary activities, such as reading newspapers, playing games such as Sudoku, listening to the radio and visiting museums, can reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s by as much as 47 percent.
