This Greek island is the birthplace of the term ‘lesbian’ – and it’s the island where Sappho was born. She was an ancient Greek woman who wrote poems about her love for other women, which makes this such a fitting location to go and celebrate your love for one another. You’ll also find plenty of lesbian bars on this island, ideal for those who love to party with their other half.
Santorini is another one we love to recommend. It’s an endlessly romantic island, offering breathtaking sunsets over it’s spills of blue-domed churches and white-washed buildings.
