A luxury gay honeymoon in Spain is a fantastic choice for gay travellers. It's one of the world’s most visited countries for a reason, and tempts newlywed LGBTQ+ couples with everything from beach resort indulgence to historic urban escapes, and from incredible art and architecture to outdoor adventures. Between exploring Moorish palaces, enjoying vibrant nightlife, and sampling local cuisine and wine, a gay honeymoon in Spain is simply dreamy.
Here at Out Of Office, we truly understand the world you live in, and the world you want to explore. Our attention to detail, exceptional service and deep understanding of both luxury travel and LGBTQ+ travel make us a fantastic choice for those looking for a travel experience where exclusivity meets inclusivity.
Spain first draws gay honeymooners with its welcoming, progressive ambiance. Same-sex marriage has been legal nationwide since 2005, reflecting the country’s openness and celebration of diversity. In exciting cities like Barcelona, Madrid, and Sitges, LGBTQ+ couples can relax and fully be themselves as they embark on their new lifelong partnership. Madrid’s gay scene gives New York and London a run for their money, while Sitges is the European equivalent of Provincetown.
Spain is home to some of Europe’s most beautiful beaches, hotels and cities - and as well as this, it boasts a divine climate and second-to-none food and drink. Laze on the acclaimed golden sands of the Costa Brava or party until dawn at beach clubs in Sitges. Wander medieval lanes in sailor-chic Cadiz before indulging in inventive tapas cuisine paired with full-bodied local Rioja wines. Art and culture abound, from the Prado to Gaudi’s fantastical architecture.
The bright lights of Madrid and Barcelona may beckon, but there are so many other places to consider for a Spanish gay honeymoon. The southern region of Andalusia is home to romantic cities, like Granada and Seville. Over in Ronda, a mountain city, you’ll be greeted with panoramic views wherever you look. Down on the coast, you can see the bright lights of Tangiers over the sea in Morocco.
With its beautiful blend of pristine beaches, enchanting historic cities, a cornucopia of culture and world-class amenities, Spain is a fantastic gay honeymoon destination. Whether you desire beach relaxation, urban energy, exciting cuisine or wellness pampering, you'll create unforgettable memories across this diverse, welcoming country.
