The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is a five-star oceanfront resort in Bal Harbour, at the quieter northern end of Miami Beach.
The resort fills a 27-story oceanfront tower, opened in 2012 with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, and has held Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond status for years. Rooms and suites have glass-walled balconies and ocean views, and St. Regis butler service comes as standard.
Dining covers four venues, led by the indoor-outdoor Greek-Mediterranean Atlantikós by the pool, with a French patisserie for afternoon tea and a bar and wine vault, the only live-music spot in Bal Harbour. The Forbes Five-Star spa has 11 treatment rooms, and there are two ocean-view pools and a fitness center.
It is a polished, service-led resort, formal in the best St. Regis way, with the Bal Harbour Shops a short walk away. It works for couples, gay or straight, on a honeymoon as much as for families. Miami International Airport is about 25 minutes away.

Dining
There are four places to eat and drink. Atlantikós is the signature, an indoor-outdoor restaurant by the pool serving Greek and Mediterranean food, good for a long lunch or dinner on the terrace. La Gourmandise handles French pastries and afternoon tea, and a grill covers steaks and seafood. The St. Regis Bar and Wine Vault is the social heart, the only live-music venue in Bal Harbour, with a nightly champagne-sabering ritual.
Wellness
The Forbes Five-Star spa has 11 treatment rooms, with an aromatic steam room and Finnish saunas, working through massages, facials, and body treatments. The St. Regis Athletic fitness center looks out over the ocean and runs group classes in yoga, cardio, and Pilates, with beach yoga as well. Two ocean-view pools overlook the sand, backed by 600 feet of private beach with cabanas, loungers, and beach butler service.
Location
The resort is in Bal Harbour, an exclusive village at the north end of Miami Beach, quieter and more residential than South Beach. Its big draw is right next door: the Bal Harbour Shops, an open-air luxury mall with Chanel, Gucci, and the rest, a three-minute walk away. The beach is on the doorstep, South Beach and Wynwood are a short drive south, and Miami International Airport is about 25 minutes away.
