At a glance
Six Senses brings its wellness-first philosophy to the historic heart of Rome, steps from the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Colosseum.
The brand’s first Italian address occupies a quietly commanding position in the centro storico, with 96 rooms and suites rooted in Roman heritage and finished with courtyard or cityscape views. Signature Suites add private terraces for guests who want the city on their own terms.
The spa takes its design from ancient Roman bathing culture, running guests through a full caldarium, tepidarium, and frigidarium thermotherapy circuit alongside bespoke treatments and biohacking.
Dining splits between BIVIUM, an all-day restaurant-café-bar, and NOTOS Rooftop, where Mediterranean dishes are served against 360-degree views over the city. A Travel + Leisure It List honoree.

Across 96 rooms, Six Senses Rome spans Deluxe rooms from 34 sqm through to the two-bedroom Lata Suite at 222 sqm, with Cocciopesto plaster and Travertine limestone throughout. Every category includes organic mattresses, yoga mats, and in-room coffee. Courtyard or cityscape views across all room types, with suites adding terraces, private transfers, and daily breakfast inclusions.
Lata Suite
The property’s grandest accommodation, spanning 222 sqm across two king bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living space with kitchenette set up for private chef dining. On the fourth floor, adjacent to San Marcello al Corso Church, the furnished terrace looks out over the façade and the Altare della Patria. Italian vintage chandeliers and original artworks throughout. Sleeps up to five.
Salviati Suite
A 101 sqm dual-aspect suite that gives you both the quiet of the courtyard and the energy of Piazza di San Marcello from a leafy private terrace. The king bedroom, separate living and dining room, and a bathroom with a discreet window framing the church create something genuinely secluded in the middle of the city.
Terrace Junior Suite
At 100 sqm split evenly between interior and terrace, this loft-style suite on the third or fourth floor leads out to a generous outdoor living area with city views over a quintessentially Roman roofscape. King bed or twin configuration, organic mattress, and enough room on the terrace for dining and sundowners.
More Information
Wellness and Spa
The spa takes its structure from ancient Roman bathing tradition, running guests through a caldarium, tepidarium, and frigidarium circuit designed to reduce inflammation and restore balance. Beyond the baths, the offering spans personalized facials, signature massages, biohacking, sound therapy, breathwork, and a hammam, backed by wellness screening and skin analysis technology. Structured programs cover sleep, detox, fitness, yoga, and female wellness.
Dining
Two very different rooms. BIVIUM is an all-day restaurant, bar, and deli space at street level, relaxed enough for a coffee or a full dinner, drawing a mix of hotel guests and locals. NOTOS Rooftop takes things outside and upward, with Chef Fabio Sangiovanni’s Naples and Amalfi Coast-influenced menu served against 360-degree views of the city, with cocktails and a regular entertainment lineup after dark.
Experiences
Six Senses Rome programs its guests’ time in the city with curator-led excursions that go well beyond the obvious. Options include a private after-hours Vatican tour, a Caravaggio trail with an art expert, mosaic-making with a local artisan, a rooftop private palazzo dinner, a boat trip to Ponza Island, and a running route through the city’s lesser-known corners. Family-friendly options include a children’s fresco-painting class.
