At a glance
The Armani Hotel Milano occupies the upper floors of a 1930s Rationalist building on Via Manzoni, one of the most quietly prestigious addresses in the city. The entrance is deliberately discreet, the lift takes you to the seventh floor, and the hotel begins properly there: reception, bar, and restaurant all looking out over the Milan skyline in a space that feels less like a hotel lobby and more like a very well-edited private apartment. Giorgio Armani designed every detail himself, and it shows.
The rooms run in tones of pearl, silver, and honey, with Armani Casa furnishings throughout and marble bathrooms fitted with monsoon showers and deep soaking tubs. Each room has a vestibule, an enclosed antechamber between the corridor and the bedroom, that gives the whole floor a sense of calm and privacy unusual even at this level. In-room iPads control lighting, temperature, curtains, and streaming with a simplicity that most smart hotel systems fail to achieve.
The restaurant on the seventh floor is worth a reservation in its own right, with chef Francesco Mascheroni working a menu that moves between Italian culinary tradition and international influences with real confidence.
The Bamboo Bar next to it, with its backlit onyx counter and regular DJ sets, pulls a stylish Milan crowd in the evenings and is one of the better places in the city to start a night. The spa on the eighth floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows and actual views, is a rarity in a city where most hotel wellness facilities sit in the basement.
More information
- The only hotel in the world designed in its entirety by Giorgio Armani, with every detail from the furniture and fabrics to the soap shapes reflecting his personal aesthetic rather than a branded interpretation of it.
- The eighth-floor spa has floor-to-ceiling windows with actual Milan skyline views, a rarity in a city where almost every hotel wellness facility sits in the basement.
- The Bamboo Bar is a destination in its own right, rated a Forbes Travel Guide Star Bar for 2025, which means the hotel functions as both a place to stay and one of the better places in Milan to spend an evening regardless of whether you are a guest.
Accommodation
Rooms
The standard rooms at the Armani Hotel Milano are larger than most five-star hotels in the city manage, finished in the hotel’s signature palette of pearl, silver, and honey with Armani Casa furnishings throughout.
Each room includes a vestibule on entry, marble bathrooms with monsoon showers and deep soaking tubs, and in-room iPads controlling lighting, temperature, and streaming. Rooms on the Via Manzoni side look out over one of Milan’s most elegant streets.
Executive Suites
The Executive Suites run to 80 square meters and step up the level of space and finish considerably, with precious materials and bespoke fabrics.
The two-bedroom configuration connects an Executive Suite with a second room across 135 square meters, making it the right option for couples who want a dedicated living space or for those traveling with a partner.
Signature and Presidential Suites
At the top of the hotel sit three suites that represent the fullest expression of Armani’s design vision. The Signature Suite with Gym is a 200 square meter duplex built around a sweeping elliptical staircase, with a private fitness space and interiors that make the architectural drama of the building felt.
The Presidential Suite and the two-bedroom Milano Suite, both on the sixth floor, open onto panoramic terraces with direct views of the Duomo and the city skyline. The Milano Suite adds a private kitchen and a dining area across 224 square meters.

Food & Drink
Armani/Ristorante
On the seventh floor, Armani/Ristorante sits removed from the energy of central Milan in a room defined by natural light and the hotel’s characteristic minimalist design. Executive Chef Francesco Mascheroni works a menu of contemporary Italian cuisine built around seasonal ingredients, with simplicity and balance as the guiding principle.
Armani/Bamboo Bar
The Bamboo Bar occupies the same floor and operates on a different frequency entirely. Named a Star Bar for 2025 by Forbes Travel Guide, it functions as a rooftop cocktail bar with skyline views, a curated cocktail list, and a casual menu that runs from brunch through to late evening.
The programming includes regular DJ sets, live pianists, and singers from aperitivo hour onward, which makes it one of the more animated places to spend an evening in this part of the city. The backlit onyx bar and the floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Milan skyline set the tone from the moment you arrive.
