Six Senses London occupies a quarter of the Grade II-listed former Whiteley’s department store in Bayswater, bringing the brand’s signature wellness philosophy to the capital for the first time in a building that has defined West London for over a century.

Set moments from Hyde Park and Notting Hill, Six Senses London houses 109 rooms and suites, many with private terraces, alongside 14 branded residences.

Interiors by AvroKO use terra-cotta tones, muted blues, marble accents, and natural materials throughout.

The 2,300 square metre spa introduces several London firsts, including a magnesium pool, cryotherapy chamber, flotation pod, and Biohack Recovery Lounge. Whiteley’s Kitchen serves vegetable-forward modern British cooking across all-day dining, while Six Senses Place, the brand’s first private members’ club, adds a dimension to the offering that no other hotel in London currently provides.

Private furnished terraces and the full Six Senses aesthetic in a more compact footprint. Art Deco details, parquet flooring, Crittall touches, and a double bed with a Naturalmat mattress. A sitting area adds a sense of separation from the sleeping space, and the private terrace makes these suites considerably more appealing than the square footage alone suggests.
