Hotel Kia Ora Resort and Spa sits on the northeastern coast of Rangiroa atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago, positioned between the two passes of Avatoru and Tiputa with a lagoon of crystal-clear water on all sides.

The property offers 58 bungalows set across three settings: within the coconut grove, along the beach, and overwater above the lagoon.

Rangiroa is one of French Polynesia’s premier diving destinations, with the passes drawing sharks, dolphins, rays, turtles, and reef fish in significant numbers. Hotel Kia Ora sits at the access point for all of it, with an on-site dive operation and a range of lagoon excursions built into the resort’s activity program.

The interiors draw on traditional Polynesian craftsmanship throughout, and the overwater Miki Miki Bar serves as the resort’s signature sunset spot, overlooking the lagoon from above the water.
