Later in the afternoon, we will take a scenic flight to gain a better overview of Uluru. Then we will watch the sunset on a remote desert location. As darkness falls, we’ll enjoy a “Night in the Field of Light,” an art experience that will illuminate your outback experience.
On day four of our trip we make our way to the northeast coastline, where we will stay in a gorgeous beach and rainforest setting for the next four nights.
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to take daily guided nature walks, beach discovery, star gazing at the observatory and bird watching to name a few activities.
Our Northeast-Australian adventure begins today! Departing early from the marina, we set sail to the Coral Cays of Mackay and the Undine Reefs to cruise and snorkel across the coastline alongside the Daintree Mountains.
If snorkelling is not for you, take a tour on a glass bottom boat or walk across the heavenly white sand beaches.
Starting a little later today, we will head to Cooya Beach, a fishing ground of the Kuku Yalanji people. After enjoying the sights of the beach, we make our way to Mossman Gorge, where we will be welcomed with a traditional ‘smoking’ ceremony conducted by Aboriginal people.
We will learn lots from our indigenous guide, from identifying bush food and making soap. Such an education will be greatly enjoyed in amongst the luscious rain forest.
Today is a day for yourself, to enjoy and relax in our beautiful eco-resort. You can hike or walk along the beach if you fancy some activity, or you can unwind by the pool or in the spa.
