Vila Vita Parc sits on a clifftop above a private beach in Porches, a village on the central Algarve coast between Portimão and Albufeira, within 54 acres of subtropical gardens that slope toward the Atlantic.
The resort opened in 1992 and has been a member of The Leading Hotels of the World since its early years. It was awarded three Michelin Keys, the highest distinction in the Michelin hospitality selection, recognizing its excellence, character, and the consistency of its guest experience.
The property is built in a Moorish-influenced style, with whitewashed buildings, arched colonnades, hand-painted pottery from the nearby village of Porches woven into the interiors, and gardens that include a swan lake, a cliff-side walking trail, and direct access to a private beach. Twelve restaurants, six bars, seven pools, a Sisley spa, a wine cellar eight meters underground holding over 11,000 bottles, and a private yacht sit within the resort grounds.

Accommodation
Deluxe Rooms
Deluxe Rooms feature a split-level layout with a separate living and sleeping area, parquet floors, and hand-painted Porches pottery woven through the interiors. A private terrace extends from the living area with a choice of ocean or garden views.
Suites
Suites step up in scale with sunken living rooms, larger terraces, and in some configurations rooftop decks with outdoor showers. Family suites connect to additional bedrooms for children, with dedicated children’s menus and kids club access included.
Masterpiece Villas
The Masterpiece Villas sit within the resort grounds with private infinity pools, several levels of living and dining space, and clifftop positions with unobstructed ocean views. Each villa includes a dedicated butler and exclusive services throughout the stay.

Food & Drink
Ocean
Two Michelin stars. Serving Portuguese fish, seafood, and ingredients from the resort’s own farm.
Atlântico
The main breakfast restaurant with garden and swan lake views, and dinner on select evenings with a menu built around Algarvian flavors.
Further Dining
Adega serves traditional Portuguese tapas and wines beside the swan lake. Mizu offers Japanese cuisine from a live teppanyaki kitchen. Giardino serves handmade pasta, pizza, and risotto. Oasis Parc offers poolside coastal dishes and wood-fired pizzas. Arte Náutica at the beach club and the Biergarten in Porches village are both accessible by complimentary shuttle.
Bars and Wine Cellar
Six bars run across the resort from the main terrace to a clifftop sunset bar. The underground wine cellar sits eight meters below ground with over 11,000 bottles.
Spa & Wellness
Vila Vita Spa by Sisley Paris is the first Sisley spa in Portugal, with 12 treatment rooms, three wellness suites, a yoga studio with aerial yoga, a Hypoxi Studio, and a full menu of Sisley facials, body treatments, and massages. A yoga garden pavilion runs daily classes, and a Vital Teen Wellness program is available for guests aged 12 to 18.
The resort has seven pools, three reserved for children, alongside tennis, padel, and pickleball courts, a golf simulator, driving range, and 18-hole putting green. A private yacht is available for charter, and daily wine tastings in the underground cellar are available to all guests.
