New Zealand is a destination that feels profoundly alive. As one of the last countries to be inhabited by humans, its landscapes remain raw, cinematic, and deeply stirring. From steaming geothermal pools and emerald forests to dramatic peaks, pristine lakes, and sculpted fjords, the natural beauty here is nothing short of remarkable.

In Rotorua, witness the earth’s power up close as turquoise geothermal waters mist and bubble at the surface. Cruise through the legendary Milford Sound, where sheer cliffs rise from dark, glassy waters, or choose a jet boat safari on the Dart River. Walk alongside ancient ice rivers at Franz Josef Glacier and experience some of the clearest night skies on the planet in the Aoraki Mackenzie Dark Sky Reserve.

Beyond the scenery, New Zealand reveals a refined, cosmopolitan side. Discover acclaimed restaurants, boutique wineries, and vibrant cities such as Auckland, Wellington, and Queenstown. This is a journey that blends cultural depth with elevated luxury, crafted for travelers seeking something truly unforgettable.

Days 1–3 – Arrival in Auckland, Waiheke Island, and Rotorua

Arrive in Auckland and begin your New Zealand journey with a seamless transfer to your hotel. That evening, gather for a welcome reception and dinner, an effortless introduction to the country’s warmth, culture, and cuisine. The following day blends heritage and indulgence, starting at the Auckland Museum with a powerful Māori cultural performance, before ferrying to Waiheke Island for a curated food and wine experience overlooking the Hauraki Gulf. On day three, travel south through rolling farmland to Matamata, home to the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set, before continuing to Rotorua. Known for its geothermal activity and cultural depth, Rotorua feels elemental and grounding. Settle in and prepare for deeper immersion into Māori tradition and the dramatic landscapes that define this region.

Days 4–5 – Rotorua and Wellington

These days explore both ancient tradition and modern creativity. In Rotorua, discover geothermal landscapes where steaming pools and vivid colors reveal the earth’s raw energy. Enjoy exclusive access to Wai Ariki Hot Springs, a restorative experience rooted in Māori wellness practices. In the evening, take part in an intimate cultural encounter, including storytelling and a visit to a Māori family home. On day five, fly to Wellington, New Zealand’s compact and character-filled capital. A guided walking tour introduces its harbor setting, historic architecture, and creative neighborhoods. The balance of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure, whether exploring museums, waterfront paths, or the city’s celebrated café culture.

Days 6–7 – Wellington to Christchurch

Begin with a private tour of Wellington’s Weta Workshop, where world-famous films have been brought to life through imagination and craftsmanship. The afternoon is free to explore the city independently before embarking on one of New Zealand’s most scenic travel days. Cross the Cook Strait by ferry to Picton, passing rugged coastlines and tranquil waterways, then continue by Coastal Pacific train through vineyards and across the Canterbury Plains. The journey itself becomes part of the experience, offering ever-changing views of land and sea. Arrive in Christchurch in the evening and settle into your hotel, ready to explore the South Island’s evolving cultural capital.

Days 8–9 – Christchurch and Mount Cook

Christchurch reveals a story of reinvention and resilience. A guided tour highlights its blend of heritage and contemporary design, followed by a gondola ride for panoramic views and a gentle punt along the Avon River. On day nine, depart through the Southern Alps, traveling past Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki, their striking blue waters framed by distant peaks. Arrive at Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, where vast alpine landscapes create a profound sense of scale and stillness. As night falls, experience stargazing in the Mackenzie Dark Sky Reserve, where clear skies reveal constellations with breathtaking clarity.

Day 10 – Aoraki Mount Cook National Park

Spend the day immersed in the alpine environment. A Glacier Explorer Cruise brings you close to floating icebergs and ancient ice formations, offering insight into the region’s glacial systems. The remainder of the day is unstructured, allowing time for gentle walks, photography, or quiet reflection against a backdrop of soaring peaks. Mount Cook is a place that invites presence rather than pace, offering moments of calm that stay with you long after you leave.

Day 11 – Mount Cook to Queenstown

Travel south via Arrowtown, a former gold mining village that retains its historic charm, before visiting the Kawarau Bungy Bridge, birthplace of modern adventure tourism. Continue along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and over the Devil’s Staircase, arriving in Queenstown by afternoon. Set against mountains and water, the town balances energy with refinement. The evening is free to explore, dine lakeside, or relax and take in the views.

Day 12 – Milford Sound

Journey into Fiordland National Park to Milford Sound, one of New Zealand’s most dramatic natural landscapes. Cruise through the fiord to its mouth, passing towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls shaped by weather and time. The experience is powerful and humbling, leaving a lasting impression of nature at its most majestic. Return to Queenstown in the evening and unwind at leisure.

Days 13–14 – Queenstown and Departure

Enjoy a final day at leisure in Queenstown, choosing from a range of optional experiences or simply savoring the setting. Scenic cruises, wine tastings, and relaxed walks are all within easy reach. That evening, gather for a farewell dinner, celebrating the journey and the connections made along the way. On day fourteen, transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Depart with a deep sense of place, having experienced New Zealand through its landscapes, cultures, and moments of quiet beauty, all seamlessly curated from beginning to end.
