At a glance
A Two Michelin Key lodge sitting almost invisibly on the floor of one of New Zealand’s most dramatic alpine valleys.
Deep in the South Island’s Ahuriri Valley, The Lindis Lodge occupies a 6,500-acre working farm in the New Zealand highlands, surrounded by tussock lands, wetlands, and the vast Ahuriri Conservation Park. The setting is extraordinary, and the lodge is built to match it. What sets The Lindis apart is the rare combination of total wilderness immersion and two Michelin Key hospitality, in a valley so remote it feels like New Zealand kept it for itself.
Accommodation spans two Master Suites, three Lodge Suites, and three architecturally striking Pods, all positioned to make the most of the valley’s panoramic silence. The cuisine takes a refined, contemporary approach to seasonal New Zealand cooking, built around local produce and garden harvests. What sets The Lindis apart is the rare combination of total wilderness immersion and world-class hospitality, a lodge that feels both remote and perfectly planned out.
World-class fly-fishing, horse trekking, and stargazing beneath some of the Southern Hemisphere’s darkest skies complete the picture. Reachable by road or private helicopter, The Lindis is a place you arrive at by choice, and leave having seen New Zealand as relatively few visitors ever do.
