This elegant boutique hotel used to be the Prime Minister’s residence. It’s a real standout and it’s located in one of the best districts in Colombo, Cinnamon Gardens. The style is very contemporary with a slightly decadent twist. It’s just a short drive to some of Colombo’s best shops and art galleries, so it’s ideal if you like to be in the heart of the action. Transport options include Uber, Kangaroo Cabs or a classic tuk tuk.
Charles and Camilla stayed here in 2013. It is, after all, the former home of the Bandaranaike family, a well known political dynasty. The residence was turned into a boutique hotel after it was taken over in 2005 by Shanth Fernando. With only ten rooms, it’s a very intimate setting.

Royal Suites
These grand suites were named the Royal Suites after Charles and Camilla stayed here. So, you’ll be staying in accommodation fit for royalty. You’ll have a lavish living area and balcony. Ideal for an opulent treat.
Superior Suite
Located on the ground floor, the Superior Suite has an outdoor lounge area with its own plunge pool. The colour scheme is light blue and off-white. The bathroom has luxury amenities by Spa Ceylon.
Executive Suite
The Executive Suite have sumptuous decor, timber floors and high ceilings. The rich blend of colours and chic furnishings make for a perfect luxury setting. The bathroom has a rain shower. This is the height of Sri Lankan elegance.

The Courtyard
Alfresco restaurant offering international cuisine, dine on antique armchairs by candlelight indoors or on the terrace.
The Dining Room
Surrounded by especially commissioned works of arts, you’ll be dining on black banquets and leather upholstered chairs. The cuisine is international. Ideal for a more formal meal in the evening.

Gym
You’ll find a well-equipped gym on the first floor. There are also yoga studios close by.
Spa
The Massage Rooms is available if you’d like to book a massage with aromatherapy oils.
Lap Pool
Located on the ground floor, the pool is surrounded by contemporary artworks. It’s the perfect place to work on your tan.
