Whilst the legal situation for LGBTQ+ people in Sri Lanka is less than ideal, travellers to the country will find a different reality as the majority of resorts and hotels provide safe haven for foreign queer people. The Grand Executive Suite is the most luxurious suite at the 98 Acres Resort And Spa. The master bedroom is located on the upper floor. The living area opens onto a wooden deck with a private plunge pool. There’s an annex bedroom on the ground floor.
The layout of these suites is truly exquisite. Your balcony overlooks a tea plantation.

Restaurant 98
Located on a hillock overlooking stunning scenery, this restaurant serves classic Sri Lankan cuisine along with Far Eastern and Continental. The tea soups are very popular.
Bar 98
A luxury bar in the jungle, what more could you want? This is a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail as you gaze out over landscape. Constructed from recycled timber, this bar is also very eco-friendly. The cocktails are are pretty good, too.
