Little Palm Island Resort & Spa is an adults-only private-island resort in the Florida Keys, reachable only by boat or seaplane.
Little Palm Island is a four-acre private island off Little Torch Key in the Lower Keys. Guests leave their cars at a mainland reception and cross to the island. There are just 30 thatched-roof bungalow suites, with no TVs or phones, and the island holds no more than about 60 guests.
The British West Indies-style bungalows have four-poster beds, vaulted ceilings, outdoor copper tubs, and private decks, some with their own sand and fire pit. Dining is a highlight, in the Dining Room or out on the beach, and there is the open-air SpaTerre spa and a lagoon pool.
This is an adults-only island made for couples on a honeymoon or anniversary, gay or straight. With the reef, watersports, and beach dinners, it is easy to never leave. Key West and its airport are about an hour away.

Accomodation
The accommodation is comprised of thatched-roof bungalows and suites. It’s more akin to something you might find the Maldives, only with signature Floribbean design elements unique to the Florida Keys.
All suites have bamboo ceilings, wooden furniture, chandeliers and four-poster beds. You’ll also have an outdoor shower and a sundeck with ocean views.
Each suite is a private, luxury cocoon. Civilization is very close supposing you’d like to explore Key West’s excellent cultural scene and nightlife – giving you the very best of both worlds.

Dining
Little Palm Island’s restaurant is excellent. You can eat indoors or on the terrace. There’s a bar in the al fresco dining area – perfect for a cocktail in the evening. The menu is regularly updated. You can opt for a seven-course tasting menu. You can also have breakfast delivered to your room and eat on your private terrace.
Wellness
SpaTerre is the island’s open-air spa, built around a two-story atrium with a reflective pool, where treatments draw on Balinese and Indonesian rituals. The menu includes a signature four-hands massage, CBD treatments, and seaweed body rituals, with massage rooms that open to private outdoor terraces. There is also beach yoga and a recently added fitness center. The lagoon pool, with its cabanas, and the white-sand beaches fill the gaps between.
Activities
The water is the main event. Looe Key, part of the world’s third-largest barrier reef, is a short boat ride away for snorkeling and diving. Closer in, guests take out kayaks and paddleboards, sail the resort’s Hobie Cats, or head out on Boston Whalers to fish or explore the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge. Back on the island, the team sets up sandbar picnics, sunset sails, and fireside evenings under the stars.
