Perched 350 meters above the Amalfi Coast, Palazzo Avino is a 12th-century noble residence turned one of Italy’s most extraordinary luxury hotels.
The history here runs deep. What began as a medieval aristocratic palazzo in the hilltop town of Ravello has welcomed Richard Wagner, Virginia Woolf and Ingrid Bergman over the centuries. Today, its 43 rooms and suites are furnished with refined antiques and original period detail, most looking out over the shimmering Gulf of Salerno.
The level of luxury is exceptional even by Amalfi Coast standards. Michelin-starred Rossellinis leads an outstanding dining lineup that includes Caffé dell’Arte and the Terrazza Maraviglia, while a full spa, heated outdoor pool, and a staff-to-guest ratio of two to one ensure nothing goes unattended.
For days at the water, the exclusive Club House by the Sea offers a private waterside escape just 15 minutes from the hotel, with direct access to the sea and helicopter transfers available on request.

Belvedere Suite
Nestled in the hotel’s gardens, this 860sqft private suite offers a spacious living area and a master bedroom, complete with a separate wardrobe. The large terrace provides breathtaking views of the sea, featuring a relaxing area, a private hydro-pool, and a generous dining space.
Orizzonte Suite
This 860sqft suite once served as the hotel’s library, and now showcases a splendid array of fine antiques. Its spacious living area is adorned with a 16th-century dormouse and an antique fireplace. The suite boasts four full balconies overlooking the sea, one of which is perfect for al fresco dining.
Aquamarine Junior Room
This room offers a king-sized bed, a bathroom with a combined bath and shower, and a choice of views facing either the sea, the mountain or the charming pedestrian street.

Palazzo Avino boasts a 20-meter outdoor heated swimming pool nestled in its gardens, providing a stunning panorama of the sea and mountains.
Clubhouse by the Sea
Nestled in the charming town of Marmorata, a short 15-minute drive from Ravello, Palazzo Avino’s Clubhouse by the Sea grants hotel guests access to beach platforms, a small pool, and the laid-back Clubhouse Restaurant. A complimentary shuttle service, starting at 9:30 am, ensures convenient transportation to and from the clubhouse from the hotel.
