Day 1: Arrival in Tromsø
A private transfer from the airport carries you into the city, settling you into a hotel within easy reach of the harbor.
Tromsø sits at nearly seventy degrees north, ringed by mountains that hold their snow well into spring, and the light itself announces the latitude before anything else does, a deep winter blue at midday that never quite becomes full daylight.
The rest of the day is left open for a first, unhurried walk along the waterfront and past the wooden buildings of the old town, with an early chance at the northern lights if the sky cooperates before you have even properly unpacked.
Day 2: Tromsø
