Raffles Seychelles is a five-star resort of 86 spacious private pool villas on the island of Praslin.
Raffles spreads across a hillside above Anse Takamaka in the north of Praslin, the Seychelles’ second-largest island, a 15-minute flight from Mahé. All 86 villas have a private pool and a balcony over the garden, ocean, or hills, and they are large enough to work for couples and families alike.
Dining covers six restaurants and lounges, led by the Mediterranean Losean, with themed evenings, a rooftop terrace, and private beach dinners. There is one of the largest spas in the Seychelles, with outdoor treatment rooms, two infinity pools, a gym, and the Sugar Palm kids’ club.
Praslin puts you within reach of Anse Lazio and the Vallée de Mai, and the resort runs hikes, snorkeling, diving, and yacht trips. It works for couples, gay or straight, on a honeymoon as much as for families. Mahé is a short flight or helicopter ride away.

The villa features two separate bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, and a spacious parlour/living space spanning 70 square metres, a generous outdoor pavilion highlighted by an open air balcony, a dining area with barbecue grill set up, and a private plunge pool.

Dining
Raffles runs six restaurants and lounges. Losean is the main draw, with Mediterranean food and a strong seafood buffet, and the kitchen rotates themed evenings through sushi, Indian, and Arabic menus across the week. There are also a rooftop terrace and shisha lounge, a pool restaurant and bar, in-villa dining, and private dinners set up on the beach. With several venues, dinner can change location from one night to the next.
Wellness
The Raffles Spa is one of the largest in the Seychelles, built across the hillside with private outdoor treatment rooms that look over the ocean and gardens. The menu runs from massages and facials to longer signature rituals, with a beauty salon alongside. For activity, there are two infinity pools, a fitness center, and yoga, plus easy swimming and snorkeling off Anse Takamaka below the resort.
Location
Raffles is in the north of Praslin, the Seychelles’ second-largest island, above Anse Takamaka and a few minutes from Anse Lazio, regularly rated one of the best beaches in the world. The Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO-listed palm forest, and the giant tortoises of Curieuse Island are close by. Praslin is about a 15-minute flight or helicopter transfer from Mahé and the main international airport, or a longer ferry.
