Cheval Blanc Seychelles is LVMH’s first Maison in the Indian Ocean, a 52-villa luxury resort on Anse Intendance, one of Mahé’s most beautiful beaches.
Cheval Blanc Seychelles opened in 2024 on Anse Intendance, a bay of white sand and granite boulders on Mahé’s southwest coast, on the former Banyan Tree site. It is the group’s newest Maison, with 52 villas by architect Jean-Michel Gathy in a contemporary take on Creole style.
Every villa has a private 13-meter pool and a butler, opening fully to the outdoors, set along the beach or up the jungle hillside for sea views. Categories run from one and two-bedroom Beach and Hill Villas to the five-bedroom Villa Anse Intendance, with original artworks in every villa.
Dining spans five restaurants, a Guerlain spa, and a beach club. It suits couples, gay or straight, on a honeymoon or special trip, though a kids’ club makes room for families. The airport is about 40 minutes away.

Dining
There are five restaurants. Le 1947 is the signature French gastronomic room, while Le White takes a more cosmopolitan, art-gallery feel at the heart of the resort. Mizumi serves Japanese and wider Asian cooking in a Creole house by a candlelit lake, Vivamento does Italian by the pool, and Sula is the feet-in-the-sand beach club for Mediterranean and Creole plates. A Thursday Creole evening runs through traditional Seychelles cooking.
Wellness
The Cheval Blanc Spa works with Guerlain, the first Guerlain spa in the Seychelles, with rituals built around the island’s natural elements. The rest of the wellness offer is active and resort-scale: a large swimming pool, a fitness center, a surf simulator unusual for the Seychelles, and two tennis and padel courts. Every villa also has its own 13-meter pool, with the long Anse Intendance beach for walks and sunsets.
Location
Cheval Blanc is on Anse Intendance, a wide bay of white sand and granite boulders on the wilder southwest coast of Mahé, backed by jungle-covered hills. It is one of the island’s most striking beaches, and one of its quietest, well away from the busier north. The sea here can be rough, which keeps the bay natural and uncrowded. Seychelles International Airport is about 40 minutes by car.
