Day by day

?

This is a sample plan, not a fixed departure. Days can be added, removed or reordered, and almost every client changes something. Prices are an entry-level guide; your quote will be exact.

Days 1-3 Edinburgh

You’ll call The Balmoral Hotel home for two nights, settling into the gorgeous Glamis Suite. Your first day kicks off with a private three-hour tour of Edinburgh Castle – no crowds, just you and centuries of Scottish drama unfolding through expert storytelling. Afterwards, afternoon tea at The Waldorf Astoria is the perfect way to decompress and people-watch.

Dinner at The Kitchin, where Chef Tom Kitchin works magic with Scottish ingredients. This isn’t just Michelin-starred dining – it’s a masterclass in what Scottish cuisine can be when someone truly understands the country’s flavors.

Day two shifts to culture and relaxation. A private tour of the Scottish National Gallery lets you explore Scotland’s artistic legacy without fighting for wall space, then it’s off to One Spa at The Sheraton Grand Hotel. They didn’t win Best Spa in Scotland for 2023 by accident.

Your Edinburgh finale? A private whisky tasting at The Scotch Whisky Experience. Whether you’re already a whisky lover or just curious, this is where you’ll understand why Scotland takes its national drink so seriously.

Days 3-5 Belmond Royal Scotsman - Taste Of The Highlands

If you choose to upgrade your getaway, you’ll board a private helicopter from Edinburgh, setting the stage for the next chapter of your luxurious journey. If not, you’ll be met by a private driver who’ll take you to your next destination.

Step aboard the Belmond Royal Scotsman for a ‘Taste Of The Highlands’ tour, a hallmark of luxury travel in Scotland. This elegant train journey takes you through Scotland’s countryside and offers the perfect showcase of natural splendor and Scottish heritage. Traverse through Dundee and the Boat of Garten, and witness the historical sites of Rothiemurchus, Culloden, and Keith.

The journey is adorned with breathtaking views of Perthshire’s rolling hills, the untouched beauty of Cairngorms National Park, and the stunning landscapes of Aberdeenshire and Angus. Experience unparalleled 24-hour steward service, exquisite fine dining and beverages, enlightening historical tours, and Scottish entertainment onboard.

Days 5-7 Loch Lomond

Getting to Loch Lomond is half the fun — take a private helicopter for dramatic Highland views, or relax with a private driver if you prefer to stay grounded. Either way, you’ll arrive at Cameron House, where Barack Obama and Leonardo DiCaprio slip away when they need to truly switch off.

Your Loch View Terrace Suite frames the loch like a living painting, complete with a welcome bottle of Glenmorangie — because nothing says “you’ve arrived” quite like excellent single malt. Unwind in the hotel’s spa, then step aboard your private yacht for a cruise across Loch Lomond with lunch prepared by your personal chef.

The next day brings a private seaplane flight to the legendary Isle of Jura — wonderfully remote, romantic, and steeped in Scottish folklore.

Days 7-12 Cairngorms

Choose your arrival style — helicopter for breathtaking Highland views or private driver for a more relaxed journey to the majestic Cairngorms. You’ll stay at The Fife Arms in Braemar, where the luxurious Royal Suite lives up to its name in this stunning five-star boutique hotel.

The Cairngorms National Park unfolds around you with some of Scotland’s most dramatic scenery. Take a private light aircraft tour to truly appreciate the scale of this natural wonder from above — it’s the kind of view that stays with you long after you’ve landed.

Then comes something truly special: Balmoral Castle, the Royal Family’s beloved Scottish retreat and Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite place on earth. Your exclusive tour reveals why this estate captured her heart so completely.
A day trip to the mystical Isle of Skye via private jet adds another layer to your Scottish story — this is where history and Highland legend blur into something magical.

Your final days are yours to explore the Cairngorms at your own pace before a private flight to Glasgow brings your Scottish odyssey to a close. It’s the kind of ending that makes you start planning your return before you’ve even left.

The UK is home to not one, but four magical countries. Many tourists choose to combine a couple into one trip, perhaps Wales and Scotland.

Luxury English Country House Tour for LGBTQ+ Travelers

Tailor-made Vacation

The English country house is one of the great inventions of British civilization. For three centuries these estates shaped the landscape, defined a way of life, and played host to the kind of private world that rarely made it into the history books. What did make it in tells a more interesting story than the official version suggests.

LGBTQ+ Theatre Trip to London: West End Shows, Soho & Stratford

Tailor-made Vacation

No country on earth does theatre quite like the United Kingdom. From the West End stages that have shaped global popular culture to the small, radical fringe venues where the next generation of writers and performers are redefining what theatre can be, Britain's relationship with live performance runs deeper than anywhere else. It is the country that gave the world Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
