Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc sits on the tip of the Cap d’Antibes peninsula, a French Riviera Palace hotel founded in 1870 with gardens that run directly down to the Mediterranean.

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc sits on the tip of the Cap d’Antibes peninsula, where the grounds of this Palace hotel run directly to the Mediterranean coastline. The property was established in 1870 as a refuge for creative and artistic spirits on the French Riviera, and it has retained that particular character ever since.

The 111 rooms and suites are spread across three buildings: the original Villa Soleil, the Eden-Roc Pavilion, and the private Les Deux Fontaines residence. Four villas in the grounds offer additional privacy for families or groups.

Executive Chef Sébastien Broda leads a contemporary Mediterranean and Provençal kitchen across multiple restaurants, from The Grill at lunch to the Eden-Roc Restaurant for dinner, all positioned along the coastline. The Dior Spa Eden-Roc handles wellness, alongside a beauty salon and fitness facilities.

Accommodation

Classic Room

Set in the original 19th-century Villa Soleil, Classic Rooms are decorated in soft greens and blues that mirror the garden views outside. French classical furnishings keep the feel quiet and considered, while the marble bathrooms are generously proportioned for the size of the room. F. Scott Fitzgerald, a former guest, described the hotel as an escape from all the world. These rooms make good on that.

Deluxe Room

Also in the historic main building, Deluxe Rooms are larger and brighter, with views that take in the gardens and a glimpse of the Mediterranean through the pine canopy beyond. Classic French furniture sits against a pale, light-filled interior, and rooms can interconnect on request for families or groups. The step up from Classic is primarily one of space and sea outlook.

Spread across a large bedroom and separate living room, One-Bedroom Suites blend Louis XV furniture with contemporary design, heritage fabrics, crystal chandeliers, and framed prints. Natural light runs through throughout, with views framing the hotel grounds. The legendary saltwater swimming pool is a short walk down La Grande Allée from the suite’s front door.
