Italy is one of the best destinations on the planet for a honeymoon. Rome comes first: four nights in a city where ancient history and exceptional restaurants occupy the same street. Then the Amalfi Coast for five nights, where the agenda shifts to boat trips, cliff-top dinners, and endless views over the Mediterranean.
The itinerary runs nine nights across two bases, with private transfers connecting every stage.
Experiences are timed, restaurants are booked in advance, and the pace is deliberately unhurried. The goal is a honeymoon that feels looked after from the moment you land to the moment you leave.

Day 1: Arrival in Rome
Arrive in Rome where a private transfer will take you to your hotel in the historic center.
After check-in, keep the evening simple with a short walk and a relaxed dinner nearby.
Day 2: Ancient Rome, Done Differently
Meet your private guide for a curated experience of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, with access arranged to avoid the crowds where possible.
In the afternoon, return to your hotel to relax before heading out for dinner. Reservations are made in advance at one of Rome’s standout restaurants.
Day 3: Vatican and Hidden Rome
Visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with a private guide, timed to avoid peak crowds.
The afternoon is left open. This is where Rome works best, with time to wander, stop for coffee, or simply take in the city without a schedule.
Day 4: Rome at Your Own Pace
A full day with no fixed plans. This can be used for shopping, exploring quieter neighborhoods, or adding an optional experience such as a food tour or private cooking class.
In the evening, enjoy one final dinner in Rome before preparing for the coast.
Day 5: Transfer to the Amalfi Coast
Travel by private transfer to the Amalfi Coast, with the journey forming part of the experience as the landscape shifts from city to coastline.
Check into your hotel in Positano, Ravello, or a nearby coastal base. The evening is relaxed, with a simple dinner and time to settle in.
Day 6: Ravello and the Amalfi Coast
Set out along the coast with your private driver for a visit to Ravello, a hilltop town known for its quieter atmosphere and panoramic views.
Spend time exploring the gardens of Villa Cimbrone or Villa Rufolo, where terraces open out over the coastline. Ravello has long attracted writers and creatives, including Gore Vidal, who spent many years living along this stretch of coast.
Lunch can be arranged at a restaurant with views across the sea before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.
The evening is left open, with time to relax or head out for dinner along the coast.
Day 7: Private Boat Experience
A private boat is arranged for the day, allowing you to explore the coastline at your own pace.
Swim in quieter coves, cruise past Positano, and stop for lunch either on board or at a restaurant by the water. The schedule remains flexible throughout.
Day 8: Amalfi Coast at Leisure
A final full day on the coast with no fixed structure. Options include visiting Ravello, exploring Amalfi town, or simply staying close to your hotel.
The evening is reserved for a final dinner overlooking the water.
