Glenross Living sits in the Kalutara Highlands near Neboda, on a former tea plantation surrounded by 90 acres of cinnamon, rubber and rainforest on the edges of the Sinharaja UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The main house dates from the nineteenth century and was built by Scottish colonial tea planters. Three colonial suites occupy the original building, while seven standalone pool villas sit in the grounds beyond. The whole property is available for exclusive hire.

The wellness programme here goes further than most. Classical hatha yoga teachers certified by Sadhguru Gurukulam lead sessions on site alongside Angampora, a traditional Sri Lankan martial art, and the kitchen is run by in-house nutritionists who design menus around each guest’s individual needs.
