Smoke sauna and ice swimming
When in Finland visiting a sauna is essential. The heat helps you to relax and unwind. At Kakslauttanen you'll find the largest smoke sauna in the world alongside two others. Each can take up to 100 bathers at once. Also try ice swimming, taking a refreshingly cold dip in the water.
Go riding with huskies in hunt of the Northern Lights. You'll sled through the wilderness drawn by these eager and friendly dogs.
On the reindeer safari you'll head into nature, chatting with the locals and connecting with Sami people in an authentic way.
What better way to pump the adrenaline than to explore Lapland's natural beauty on a snowmobile. You'll ride into the snowy forest and experience the best scenery on offer. The two-hour safari includes a coffee break while the four-hour trip includes lunch prepared over an open fire and enjoyed in the outdoors.
Northern Lights Hunt
Hunting for the northern lights is an often unpredictable but fun experience. On this nocturnal adventure you'll venture into the wilderness in hunt of the aurora borealis - and trust us when we say this is one of the best places on earth to see them.
Midnight Sun Viewing
In summer, the sun doesn't set in the Arctic Circle. From Kakslauttenen you can head to some incredible vieiwng points to watch the sun dip a little in the sky but also to celebrate midnight in full sunshine. We broadcast live from the midnight sun when we visited.
We're in the Arctic circle in Finnish Lapland where the sun is still very much shining and one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in winter.
