Western Australia brings a different kind of magic. Perth’s breezy lifestyle sets the tone before you ferry to car-free Rottnest Island, home to the charming quokka and some of the clearest waters in the country. Then, venture to the remote Ningaloo Coast. Stay in barefoot luxury at Sal Salis, where you’ll snorkel with whale sharks, walk sun-baked gorges, and dine under starry skies.
Your journey ends in Margaret River — a celebration of food, wine and natural beauty. Discover world-renowned vineyards, dine on gourmet cuisine, and unwind along dramatic coastlines. This is Australia at its most captivating — a place where nature meets indulgence, and where adventure is always balanced with elegance.

Day by day
This is a sample plan, not a fixed departure. Days can be added, removed or reordered, and almost every client changes something. Prices are an entry-level guide; your quote will be exact.
Days 1-2: Adelaide
Touch down in South Australia’s cosmopolitan capital, settle into the Mayfair Hotel Adelaide and ease into your trip with time to explore Adelaide’s buzzing markets, elegant gardens and artsy laneways. A full-day tour into the Barossa Valley introduces you to one of Australia’s most prestigious wine regions. Sample crisp whites and robust reds while soaking up vineyard views and keeping an eye out for native wildlife.
Day 3: Kangaroo Island
Fly to Kangaroo Island — an unspoiled sanctuary for wildlife and nature lovers. With a local guide, walk through eucalyptus bushland in search of rare kangaroos, wallabies, and native flora, before a picnic of fresh island produce. At Seal Bay, you’ll wander amongst sea lions on a remote beach, observing their behaviours up close in this extraordinary natural habitat. Head back to Providence Guest House to relax after an exciting day.
Day 4: Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
Discover the raw beauty of Flinders Chase National Park, home to endemic wildlife and dramatic coastal rock formations. Visit a thriving fur seal colony beneath Admiral’s Arch and marvel at the sculpted granite boulders of the Remarkable Rocks. After a picnic lunch in the bush, fly back to Adelaide for a restful evening at the Mayfair Hotel Adelaide.
Days 5–6: Flinders Ranges
Collect your car and journey into the outback to the ancient Flinders Ranges. Stay at Rawnsley Park Station surrounded by rugged landscapes. Choose a scenic flight for a breathtaking view of the ranges’ red-rock amphitheatres and stark wilderness, or explore the terrain on foot and learn about the area’s Indigenous history.
Days 7–8: Perth
Fly west to the sunny sophistication of Perth. Relax in Kings Park, explore the galleries and bars of the city’s cultural precinct, or head to Cottesloe Beach for Indian Ocean sunsets and alfresco dining. This is the perfect gateway to Western Australia’s laid-back lifestyle with COMO The Treasury acting as your base.
Days 9–10: Rottnest Island
Board a ferry to idyllic Rottnest Island, a protected car-free paradise and home to the endearing quokka. Cycle scenic coastal trails, discover hidden beaches and snorkel in crystal-clear waters before retreating to Discovery Rottnest Island for the night. Whether you are here for nature, photography or serenity, Rottnest is an off-the-beaten-path gem worth exploring.
Days 11–13: Ningaloo Reef & Cape Range
Fly north to the UNESCO-listed Ningaloo Coast, where safari-style luxury meets barefoot beach life. From your eco-lodge Sal Salis, perched between reef and desert, snorkel with whale sharks (seasonal), drift above coral gardens, or hike through the red gorges of Cape Range National Park. End each day with fine wine, sunset views, and a gourmet three-course dinner under the stars.
Days 14–16: Margaret River
Travel south to the Margaret River — a world-class wine and gastronomic region – and check into the luxurious Cape Lodge. Explore pristine beaches, limestone caves, and cliffside lookouts before indulging in vineyard tastings and seasonal cuisine. Enjoy an immersive wine and art experience at Leeuwin Estate, complete with a curated seven-course degustation lunch paired with their finest vintages.
Days 17–18: Return Flight
Your Australian escape draws to a close. Travel back to Perth and prepare for your onward international flight, taking with you a journey full of contrast, wonder, and unforgettable moments.
