Continuing your journey, you’ll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where you’ll embark on a captivating cruise down the picturesque Mekong Delta. Experience life along the riverbanks as you witness the daily rhythms of local communities and soak in the scenic beauty of this legendary waterway.

Day 1: Phnom Penh

On arrival you will be met by your guide who will then transfer you to your hotel and assist you with check-in.

Once you have freshened up, you will head out on a Cyclo for a tour of the city. Head to the Royal Palace which dates back to 1866. You will then head to the National Museum where you will discover Cambodia’s rich history. Known for its unique Khmer style architecture, the museum is filled with over 5,000 pieces of archaeological and religious artefacts.

Your day concludes with a visit to Wat Phnom temple.

Day 1: Phnom Penh

Day 2: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap

After breakfast you will catch a flight to Siem Reap. You will be met by your guide who will transfer you to your hotel.

Your first stop is the ancient city of Angkor Thom which was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. From here you will visit the Bayon Temple which was where the Lara Croft movie ‘Tomb Raider’ was filmed.

You will return to the hotel for the evening.

Day 2: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap

After breakfast you will be exploring the temples of the Small Circuit by ‘remork’ (similar to a tuk-tuk). First stop is the Ta Prohm temple, which has been left largely as it was found – overgrown with trees! You will also visit Banteay Kdei which is a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th Century.

After a rest at your hotel you will proceed to the famous Angkor Wat for a tour. Built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, Angkor Wat is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolising the Mount Meru, home of the gods. It is also part of the Cambodian national flag as the temple symbolises the soul of the Khmer people. You will return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 3: Siem Reap

Day 4: Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. You will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 4: Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel for a full day tour of the city. First stop is Cholon, which is the Chinatown district where you will discover the area’s markets and shops. Visit the FITO Museum which was Vietnam’s first traditional medicine museum. Here you will find a collection of over 3,000 artefacts which were used as medical instruments.

You will then head to Ben Thanh Market which is filled with fresh produce. In the afternoon you will visit the War Remnants or History Museum and the Presidential Palace. Take a stroll and visit the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. You will then proceed back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh

Day 6: Mekong Delta

Your day will start with a drive to Cai Be where you will then board your boat for a cruise through the Cai Be floating market. Traders work the river and have lived here for generations. After the market you will visit a cottage factory where rice paper and coconut candies are made.

Another short boat ride away and you will arrive at Dong Hoa Hiep Island. You will have a traditional lunch Mekong style before heading back to Ho Chi Minh for the evening.

Day 6: Mekong Delta

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh to Danang to Hoi An

After breakfast you will be transferred to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a short flight to the central port city of Danang transfer to Hoi An. You will have a walking tour of the ancient town centre. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh to Danang to Hoi An

Day 8: Hoi An to Hue

Today you will depart Hoi An and start your journey to Hue. Once there you will be taken on a tour where you will visit its mesmerising tombs and mausoleums which depict the city’s rich history. You will drive through Danang and visit the Cham museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world.

You will then visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After this you will head to Thien Mu Pagoda overlooking the Perfume River. The pagoda represents the seven reincarnations of Buddha. You will then be transferred back to your hotel in Hue.

Day 8: Hoi An to Hue

Day 9: Hue to Hanoi

Today after breakfast you will be heading to Hanoi. You will start with a trip to the city’s lively Dong Ba Market to see the fresh produce. You will then head on a cyclo tour though the ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax.

You will then journey to Khai Dinh’s Tomb which is designed in a traditional Vietnamese style. Afer this you will be transferred to Hue airport for your flight to Hanoi. On arrival you will be me by your guide who will escort you to your hotel where you will check in. The evening is at your leisure.

Day 9: Hue to Hanoi

Day 10: Hanoi to Halong Bay

After breakfast you will leave Hanoi and will be transferred to Halong Bay. you will arrive at your Jetty where you will board your boat. Enjoy a delicious lunch on board whilst cruising to the bay. In the afternoon enjoy some activities offered or just enjoy cruising around the Bay (depending on the boat’s itinerary). In the evening the boat will anchor up amongst the Karst formations. Dinner is served on board.

Day 10: Hanoi to Halong Bay

Day 11: Halong Bay to Hanoi

Enjoy breakfast in the bay and watch the sun rise. You will then head back to the port where you will disembark and will be transferred back to Hanoi.

In Hanoi you will visit the Old Quarter, where you will enjoy a walking tour through charming Hang Be Market and around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 11: Halong Bay to Hanoi

Day 12: Departure

You will check out of your hotel and head to the Temple of Literature followed by The One Pillar Pagoda which is one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples. You will then be transferred to the airport where you catch a flight to your next destination.
