Spread across 180 acres of tropical forest, working coffee farm, and organic gardens, the resort’s 50 freestanding casitas are finished with weathered wood, richly-hued marble, and panoramic terraces overlooking the San Isidro Valley. All meals, daily wellness classes, and a full calendar of bespoke experiences are included in the rate.

Casa con Piscina
At 1,314 sq ft, the Casa con Piscina pairs a canopied king bed and large picture windows framing rolling countryside with a private heated plunge pool on the terrace. Inside, a wet bar, powder room, dressing area, and en-suite with double vanity round out a well-considered, stand-alone retreat.
Casita Grande
At 1,578 sq ft, the Casita Grande suits groups or families traveling together: two adjacent but separate suite-style bedrooms (one king, one with two queens), each with its own entrance, lounge, and private terrace. Privacy is maintained throughout while the shared setting keeps everyone under one roof.
Casa Grande con Piscina
At 1,798 sq ft, the Casa Grande con Piscina is the property’s most generous option for groups. Two grand bedrooms flank a vaulted living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, while a private plunge pool with sun loungers, stone terrace, and panoramic San Isidro Valley views complete a genuinely villa-scale experience.

Dining
All meals are included in the rate across five distinct venues. Grano is the signature restaurant, rooted in Costa Rican ingredients and Latin American culinary tradition. Cienfuegos is the standout: an open-fire dinner cooked over coconut husks at the resort stables, with a live equestrian show alongside. Poolside options, a coffee bar, and an adults-only rancho bar complete the picture.
Wellbeing
Central America’s largest spa spans over 20,000 sq ft and anchors every visit with a purifying ritual at Casa de Agua, a greenhouse-style hydrotherapy pool using hand-harvested Costa Rican clays and oils. Beyond the eight treatment rooms, a natural river bath, sauna, steam room, and the Estée Lauder Skin Longevity Institute round out one of the region’s most serious wellness offerings.

Hacienda AltaGracia sits in Santa Teresa de Cajón in southern Costa Rica’s Pérez Zeledón canton, high above the San Isidro Valley with views toward the Talamanca Mountains. The 180-acre estate covers tropical forest, a working coffee farm, equine stables, and chef’s gardens. Complimentary shared charter flights connect the property to San José International for up to four guests per suite.
