At a glance
Lapland Hotels Tampere sits in the center of Tampere, 400 meters from the central train station and a short walk from the city’s main street Hämeenkatu.
The hotel has 141 rooms designed around the nature and stories of Finnish Lapland, a sauna floor on the eighth level, a jacuzzi, a gym, a restaurant and a bar. It is a 4-star property and one of the most visited hotels in Tampere for both leisure and business travelers.
Tampere is Finland’s second city and one of the most livable in the country, built between two lakes with a former industrial waterfront that has been converted into galleries, restaurants and cultural venues.
The Moomin Museum is a short walk from the hotel, Tampere Hall hosts world-class concerts and congresses next door, and the city’s sauna culture runs as deep here as anywhere in Finland, with the Rajaportti public sauna among the oldest still operating in the country.

Accommodation
Northern Comfort
The entry-level category at Lapland Hotels Tampere, with a queen or twin bed configuration, the full Lapland Hotels room specification and a private bathroom with shower. The interiors carry the same Lapland design language as the rest of the hotel.
Northern Deluxe
The Northern Deluxe rooms are larger than the Comfort category and some configurations include a private sauna, making them the right choice for those who want the Finnish sauna experience without leaving the room. The deluxe category also includes screen mirroring capability for the flat-screen TV.
Superior Suites
The most spacious accommodation at Lapland Hotels Tampere, with separate living areas and the full hotel specification throughout. The suites work well for longer stays or for those wanting the most the hotel offers.

Food & Drink

Dabbal Kitchen and Bar
The hotel restaurant serves Nordic cuisine with a focus on Lapland ingredients, including reindeer, char, salmon and wild mushrooms.
The kitchen runs from an award-winning breakfast buffet through to a surprise dinner menu that changes with the season and the produce available. The bar serves an extensive wine list alongside a full drinks menu through the evening.
Wellness

The eighth floor of Lapland Hotels Tampere is dedicated to wellness. Shared saunas are available for all hotel guests, and the private sauna and event space Kero can be reserved for groups or for those wanting a more private experience. A jacuzzi and a fully equipped gym complete the floor.
Some Northern Deluxe rooms also have a private sauna built into the room for those preferring to stay on their own floor.
Finland
Finland operates on Eastern European Time, two hours ahead of the UK and seven ahead of the East Coast of the US. The country is larger than it looks on a map: Helsinki to Rovaniemi in the heart of Lapland is around 830 kilometers, and domestic flights are the practical option for combining a city stay with an Arctic itinerary.
Our Experts
Whether you're after a cosy couples' escape or a charming family holiday, Finland has something for any traveller. Picture yourself bombing across a frozen landscape on a snowmobile before nestling up by a roaring log fire.
There are few experiences more magical than watching the Northern Lights dance across the Arctic sky. Why not spend the night in your own luxury igloo and see them for yourself?
