Experience the full range of Greece on this tailor-made eleven-day LGBTQ+ itinerary across Athens and three of the Cyclades. Designed for couples and honeymooners ready to take their time, the trip moves from the ancient capital to the quietest Cycladic island before ending on Greece’s most established gay island, with stylish hotels, private guides and carefully curated experiences throughout.

In Athens, you’ll explore the Acropolis with a private gay-friendly guide before a long lunch in Plaka and an evening in Gazi, the city’s gay neighbourhood. Stay at Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection, a contemporary luxury property just off Syntagma Square with a rooftop pool overlooking the Acropolis.

Next, fly to Santorini for two nights at Athina Luxury Suites in Fira. Perched above the caldera, the hotel offers some of the island’s most dramatic volcano views and puts you within easy reach of Santorini’s restaurants, bars and famous sunsets. A private sunset catamaran from Ammoudi Bay rounds off the stay.

A two-hour ferry north brings you to Naxos, the largest and quietest of the Cyclades, for three nights at Sundunes Hotel on Plaka Beach. A private island tour takes you through mountain villages and marble quarries, while a private boat day to Paros offers a chance to discover another side of the Cyclades.

Close the trip on Mykonos. Spend three nights at Semeli Hotel in Mykonos Town, perfectly positioned for exploring the island’s restaurants, nightlife and iconic waterfront. Enjoy time at the gay beach clubs, lunch at Kiki’s overlooking Agios Sostis Beach, and a private sailing cruise to Delos and Rhenia on your final full day.

More Information

Greece is one of the best destinations on earth for gay travelers.  At the center is Athens, a city that functions confidently as both cultural capital and livable gay destination. The LGBTQ+ scene is established and integrated, concentrated around Gazi and Kerameikos, where cocktail bars, clubs, and late-night restaurants sit comfortably alongside galleries and design hotels.

For travelers seeking a more overtly social experience, Mykonos remains one of the world’s most refined gay destinations. Gay beaches, international nightlife, and world-class luxury hotels. Events such as Xlsior Festival anchor the late-summer calendar, attracting an upwardly mobile crowd.

Beyond these anchors, Greece has many great destinations to explore – some lesser-known. Thessaloniki makes for a sophisticated alternative: a younger city with a low-key gay scene, strong food culture, and a sense of place that exists independently of tourism. In the Cyclades, islands such as Paros and Naxos attract gay travelers who value privacy, landscape, and excellent dining over nightlife.

Seasonality shapes everything. July and August are intense and crowded. May, June, September, and early October offer warmth, availability, and a more elegant pace. Athens remains reliable year-round, while island scenes rise and fall with summer.

Greece works for luxury gay travel today because it allows choice. You can be social or private, visible or discreet, immersed in nightlife or focused on culture – often within a single itinerary. That flexibility, paired with strong infrastructure and fascinating history, is what makes Greece an enduring luxury travel destination.

In detail

? Don't forget that most of our itineraries can be totally customized. Our expert team will be able to talk you through all the options.

Days 1–3: Athens

Your Greek adventure begins in Athens, where you’ll be met at the airport and transferred privately to Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection. Located just steps from Syntagma Square, it’s one of the city’s best addresses, combining contemporary design with rooftop views across Athens to the Acropolis.

Day two is devoted to discovering the highlights of ancient Athens with a private gay-friendly guide. Explore the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Theatre of Dionysus and the Acropolis Museum before heading into the atmospheric streets of Plaka and Monastiraki for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Additional visits to the National Archaeological Museum or the Benaki Museum can easily be arranged for those looking to delve deeper into Greece’s history and culture.

In the evening, experience Athens’ LGBTQ+ scene in Gazi, the city’s vibrant gay district. Home to popular venues including BIG, S-Cape, Sodade 2.0 and Beaver Collective, the neighbourhood offers everything from relaxed cocktails to late-night dancing. For guests wanting a more insider experience, we can arrange a local guide to introduce you to the best venues and events taking place during your stay.

Days 1–3: Athens

Days 3–5: Santorini

A short flight south brings you to Santorini, the volcanic island whose dramatic caldera views have made it one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic destinations. You’ll spend two nights at Athina Luxury Suites in Fira, a boutique property perched high above the caldera with sweeping views across the volcano and Aegean Sea.

Fira offers the perfect balance of atmosphere and accessibility, with excellent restaurants, bars and boutiques on your doorstep, while still providing the spectacular scenery that draws travelers to Santorini. It’s an ideal base for couples seeking romance, privacy and effortless access to the island’s highlights.

Day four features one of Santorini’s signature experiences: a private sunset catamaran cruise departing from Ammoudi Bay. Sail beneath the caldera cliffs, stop for swimming in crystal-clear waters and enjoy dinner on board as the sun sets over the volcanic islands. For wine lovers, we can also arrange a private tasting at renowned estates such as Estate Argyros or Domaine Sigalas, where Santorini’s distinctive Assyrtiko wines showcase the unique character of the island’s volcanic terroir.

Days 3–5: Santorini

Days 5–8: Naxos & Paros

A two-hour ferry north brings you to Naxos, the largest and most authentic of the Cyclades. While many visitors pass through on their way to Santorini or Mykonos, those who stay discover a slower pace of life, long sandy beaches and a landscape that feels distinctly Greek. You’ll spend three nights at Sundunes Hotel on Plaka Beach, a stylish boutique retreat with contemporary suites, private pools and direct access to one of the island’s finest stretches of sand.

Day six is dedicated to exploring the island with a private driver. Discover the marble quarries near Apollonas, where the famous unfinished Kouros statues still lie on the hillside centuries after work ceased. Continue through the fertile Tragea Valley to the village of Halki, home to traditional stone houses and the island’s historic Citron distillery, before enjoying a leisurely lunch in Apiranthos, one of Naxos’ most beautiful mountain villages.

On day seven, board a private boat for a day exploring neighboring Paros. Wander the whitewashed streets of Naoussa, one of the Cyclades’ prettiest harbour towns, browse boutique shops and waterfront cafés, then continue inland to Lefkes, the island’s former capital, for lunch beneath the bougainvillea-covered lanes. Return to Naxos in the evening with plenty of time to enjoy dinner by the sea.

Days 5–8: Naxos & Paros

Days 8–11: Mykonos

A thirty-minute ferry brings you to Mykonos, the most established LGBTQ+ island in the Mediterranean and the perfect finale to your Greek adventure. You’ll spend three nights at Semeli Hotel, a stylish luxury property on the edge of Mykonos Town, perfectly positioned for exploring the island’s famous restaurants, nightlife and waterfront while offering a more intimate atmosphere than some of the larger resort hotels.

Day nine is yours to experience Mykonos at your own pace. Spend the day at the island’s iconic beach clubs, whether that’s Jackie O’, Elia or Super Paradise, each offering a different scene and atmosphere. We’ll help steer you towards the option that best suits your style. For lunch, head to Kiki’s Tavern near Agios Sostis Beach, a much-loved local institution where simple grilled dishes and sea views have made it one of the island’s most sought-after tables.

Day ten features a private sailing cruise to Delos and Rhenia. Delos is one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites and, according to mythology, the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. After exploring the ancient ruins, continue to the uninhabited island of Rhenia for swimming and relaxation in crystal-clear waters. Lunch is served on board before returning to Mykonos for your final evening in Greece. A private transfer to Mykonos Airport on day eleven concludes your journey.

Days 8–11: Mykonos
