Kasbah Tamadot, meaning “soft breeze” in Berber, is a Virgin Limited Edition property owned by Sir Richard Branson, set in the High Atlas Mountains with views of Mount Toubkal.

The building was discovered by Branson during a ballooning expedition and restored as a hotel. Kasbah Tamadot underwent a year-long restoration and reopened in October 2024 with a second restaurant, six new Riads and a total of 42 rooms, suites, tents and Riads.

The whole property is staffed entirely by Moroccan team members, and the Eve Branson Foundation runs community and artisan programmes from the estate.

Marrakech is around an hour away by road, and the surrounding Atlas Mountains offer some of the most varied hiking and cycling terrain in North Africa.
