Room Options
Kwena Lodge
A modern twist on traditional Khoi-San dwellings, these luxurious lodges come with infinity pools, a separate dining room and an open plan lounge and bar. You’ll have a traditional boma outside (a firepit and sitting area).
There are 14 open plan suites at Kwena Lodge. Each one is around 70m2.
Bush Villas And Fynbos Villas
The Bush Villas And Fynbos Villas are like private homes. They’re ideal for families or larger groups. The layout is open plan and there are three or four bedrooms. All of the villas are very private and come with stunning and outdoor decks.
The villas have double thatch roofs. They’re 240m2 and come with two to four bedrooms. The living area has a wood fireplace with folding doors that open onto stunning views of the Western Cape.
The nearby Lehele Lodge bar serves gourmet cuisine. Throughout the day you’ll enjoy game drives through the bush.
Tented Eco Camp
The full conservation experience is a great way to discover the African Bush at Gondwana. You’ll learn about veld and wildlife management. Your base will be an eco-friendly tented bush camp. There are five large beds along with twin and double share tents located on a raised deck. Food will be served in the recreational area or outside boma. You can unwind in a hammock by the pool.
A typical day looks something like this:
- Early breakfast
- Morning activity – locating cheetah and monitoring the wildlife
- Visit the conservartion project site
- Packed lunch in the bush
- Continue with field projects
- Evening game drive
- Return to camp
- Hearty dinner and braai/potjie nights
Ulubisi House
Stay in a luxurious African villa and have your own chef, butler and field guide. The villa is located within a part of the reserve that’s full of game. There are three luxury suites overlooking the rolling mountains. All meals and drinks are included. This is the most glamorous way to experience the African bush.
