The first Hard Rock Hotel in the Maldives, this music-led resort runs on Akasdhoo Island in the Emboodhoo Lagoon of the South Malé Atoll, around a 15-minute speedboat from Velana International Airport. It forms part of CROSSROADS Maldives, the country’s first integrated leisure destination, linked by a 500-meter footbridge to The Marina @ CROSSROADS, a dining and entertainment hub it shares with sister property SAii Lagoon.
Accommodation runs to 178 rooms and villas, from beach and family studios up to one- and two-bedroom overwater pool villas and the signature Rock Star Villa, which adds a tuk-tuk bar and private infinity pool.
The Hard Rock identity runs throughout, with Fender guitars and turntables in the rooms through the Sound of Your Stay program, live music, and all-inclusive meal plans available across the resort.

Rock Star Villa
Rock Star Villa are overwater villas with direct access to Emboodhoo lagoon and a spacious outdoor deck. You’ll have your own tuk-tuk bar, cabana and an infinity pool. In keeping with the rock and roll theme, you’ll have a jukebox.
Rock Royalty Villa
A great choice if you’d like more space. The Rock Royalty Overwater Pool Villa comes with two bedrooms and two bathrooms separated by a living room. The outdoor area has a terrace, an infinity pool, a hammock, and sun loungers. You’ll have all the luxury amenities you’ll need, including three Smart TVs.
Platinum Overwater Pool Villa
Platinum Overwater Pool Villa feature an infinity plunge pool. You’ll also have two terraces and direct lagoon access. An infinity pool will give you the most Instagrammable backdrop you could hope for in the Maldives. The infinity pool will seem to go on forever surrounded by the lagoon.
Gold Beach Villa
Gold Beach Villas are very grand. These are not overwater villas – instead you’ll have direct beach access. The blue waters of the lagoon are easily accessible from the Gold Beach Villa. You’ll have ocean views and signature amenities.
Silver Family Suite
Silver Family Suites are very spacious – they are designed for larger groups. Silver Family Suites can fit 4 adults and 2 children. The villa is open plan with an upstairs floor. You’ll have a private terrace and direct beach access.
Silver Sky Studio
Silver Sky Studios have a private balcony with ocean view. You’ll be overlooking the beach and the lagoon. Classic 5-star Maldives luxury.

Dining
Hard Rock Hotel Maldives runs three on-property venues. Sessions is the all-day signature, an ingredient-driven, around-the-world menu served from an open kitchen, with theme nights and a private Chef’s Studio for up to 12. The Elephant and The Butterfly is the beachfront Mexican and Latin American restaurant, themed on the Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera love story, with ceviche, tiradito, and tableside guacamole. The Pool Bar handles swim-up drinks and bites. The marina adds seven more restaurants.
Wellness
Wellness follows the Hard Rock playbook. The Rock Spa covers massages, vitamin therapies, and body wraps across its treatment rooms, while Rock Om brings DJ-scored yoga classes to in-room smart TVs. The 24-hour oceanfront Body Rock fitness center handles the gym side, and the resort’s outdoor pool comes with a waterslide and an underwater sound system. The Sound of Your Stay program rounds it out, with Fender guitars and turntables available to every room.

The resort is on Akasdhoo Island in the Emboodhoo Lagoon of the South Malé Atoll, around a 15-minute speedboat from Velana International Airport. It anchors one side of CROSSROADS Maldives, the country’s first integrated destination, with a 500-meter footbridge leading to The Marina @ CROSSROADS for further dining, a beach club, shopping, and the Marine Discovery Centre. Water sports run from the on-island base, including parasailing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, and snorkeling across the lagoon.
