One of the newest luxury hotels to emerge in the Maldives, Hard Rock is a very well established brand. Their hotels always have a bit of an edge and this is a great choice if you’d like a bit of rock and roll glamour. You can order your own guitar to your villa – many rooms come with their own jukebox. There’s a music-themed restaurant and also a pool with underwater speakers.
The Maldives wouldn’t be the Maldives without overwater villas, and Hard Rock doesn’t disappoint. Most overwater villas come with private pools – even private infinity pools. Maldivian hotels have become synonymous with luxury, and the new Hard Rock Hotel more than measures up. There are excellent all-inclusive packages too so you don’t break the bank whilst you’re there.

Despite having problematic laws concerning LGBTQ+ rights, the Maldives is one of Out Of Office’s most popular destinations. Due to the geography of the Maldives, each island is essentially run by the resort that occupies it. We work with an incredible selection of resorts, many of which have LGBTQ+ management, that are welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community.
Accommodation
Rock Star Villa are overwater villas with direct access to Emboodhoo lagoon and a spacious outdoor deck. You’ll have your own tuk-tuk bar, cabana and an infinity pool. In keeping with the rock and roll theme, you’ll have a jukebox.
A great choice if you’d like more space. The Rock Royalty Overwater Pool Villa comes with two bedrooms and two bathrooms separated by a living room. The outdoor area has a terrace, an infinity pool, a hammock, and sun loungers. You’ll have all the luxury amenities you’ll need, including three Smart TVs.
Platinum Overwater Pool Villa feature an infinity plunge pool. You’ll also have two terraces and direct lagoon access. An infinity pool will give you the most Instagrammable backdrop you could hope for in the Maldives. The infinity pool will seem to go on forever surrounded by the lagoon.
Gold Beach Villas are very grand. These are not overwater villas – instead you’ll have direct beach access. The blue waters of the lagoon are easily accessible from the Gold Beach Villa. You’ll have ocean views and signature amenities.
Silver Family Suites are very spacious – they are designed for larger groups. Silver Family Suites can fit 4 adults and 2 children. The villa is open plan with an upstairs floor. You’ll have a private terrace and direct beach access.
Silver Sky Studios have a private balcony with ocean view. You’ll be overlooking the beach and the lagoon. Classic 5-star Maldives luxury.

Hard Rock Cafe Maldives
Stroll along the red carpet to the Hard Rock Cafe. There’s live music every night, rock and roll memorabilia, a large cocktail list and a classic American menu. There’s a dance floor for the evenings. Located oceanfront at The Marina @ CROSSROADS.
Sessions
Focusing on the freshest local ingredients, Sessions is an a-la-carte gourmet restaurant. You can try the private Chef’s Studio with up to 12 guests and try a range of delicacies
The Elephant and the Butterfly
Experience Mexican and Latin American fusion cuisine. Try Maldivian ceviche and tiradito, and tableside guacamole. This restaurant is inspired by the love story of Frida Kahlo and Diego Revera. The restaurant offers panoramic ocean views.
Pool Bar
Here you’ll find the infinity pool that leads to the lagoon. Enjoy the stunning backdrop of the Indian Ocean. The pool has an underwater sound system.
