At a glance
Twelve days is enough to cross Ireland from its northern shipyards to its western cliffs and understand why no single city could ever tell the whole story.
The trip opens in Belfast, a city whose maritime history and more difficult recent past have paved the way, in the years since, to a genuine cultural renewal visible in its museums, markets, and waterfront.

From there, the road turns south to Dublin, Ireland's energetic capital and the city that shaped a canon of world literature still felt in its streets today. The Guinness Storehouse and St. Patrick's Cathedral anchor the stay, and the city's pubs and bars fill every night of the week regardless of season.
Further south again, Cork settles into a coastline of fishing villages and whiskey distilleries, with the Jameson Distillery's own history as its centerpiece and the Ring of Kerry within easy reach for the days that follow. Killarney's lakes give the trip its first real quiet, a national park built for slow mornings on the water and a kayak crossing to a monastery reachable no other way.
The journey closes in Galway, a small city with an outsized reputation for music and color and the natural launch point for the cliffs and ancient forts strung along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Our team of LGBTQ+ travel experts handles every stay, transfer, and private guide across all five stops before you leave home, leaving you with one job: deciding how long to linger in each place.

Day by day
This is a sample plan, not a fixed departure. Days can be added, removed or reordered, and almost every client changes something. Prices are an entry-level guide; your quote will be exact.
Days 1 to 3: Belfast
Settle into the city center for three nights, close to the docks where the Titanic was built.
Titanic Belfast traces the ship from its construction to its final voyage, set inside the old Harland and Wolff shipyard.
A short drive out to Hillsborough Castle, the official residence of the King during state visits to Northern Ireland, gives the trip its first taste of the countryside beyond the city, set across a hundred acres of grounds.
Day 4 to 6: Dublin
A private transfer south brings you into Dublin for three nights in the city center. The Guinness Storehouse traces the brewery’s history from 1759 to the present, ending at its rooftop bar looking out over the city.
St. Patrick’s Cathedral, founded in 1191, remains the tallest in Ireland, and a private tour of the Irish Parliament grounds at Stormont adds a second architectural landmark to the stay.
Dublin’s evenings are built for its pubs and its long-standing gay bars around the city center, both well within walking distance of most hotels downtown.
Day 7 and 8: Cork
Continue south to Cork for two nights.
A behind-the-scenes tour of the Jameson Distillery traces the history of Irish whiskey from its origins to the present.
Cork’s own coastline makes an easy base for day trips to Kinsale, a harbor town known for its color-washed streets, and Cobh, the last port of call for the Titanic before its final voyage.
Day 9 and 10: Killarney
West to Killarney National Park for two nights, with a private kayak crossing to Innisfallen Island, home to the ruins of a monastery reachable only by water.
The Ring of Kerry’s small towns make for an easy day of driving beyond the park itself, each one a variation on the same theme of stone, water, and mountain.
Day 11 and 12: Galway
The final two nights are spent in Galway, a small city known for its music and its color, closing out the trip along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Dun Aengus, a cliffside fort believed to be up to two thousand years old, sits on the Aran Islands with no railings between its edge and the Atlantic below.
A final dinner at the Glenlo Abbey Hotel is served inside two carriages from the original Orient Express, once used in the filming of a classic Agatha Christie adaptation.
Our Experts
I love Ireland. It's one of the most magical destinations in the world, and you can sense the layers of mysticism and heritage.
Dublin is such a blast and home to Ireland's best gay scene. The pubs and clubs here are a cut above the rest and always promise a good night.
Stellar service. Stellar products. Stellar people and it gets so much better when you pick up the phone and call.

Luxury Ireland Tour: Killarney & the Beara Peninsula
Tailor-made VacationThe beauty of Killarney's lakes and the Beara Peninsula beyond them speaks for itself. Century-old grounds running to the water, ruins reachable only by kayak, and roads so remote you may not pass another car all day. This trip begins on the shore of Lough Leane, where the water is calm enough most mornings for a private kayak crossing to Innisfallen Island, home to the ruins of a seventh-century monastery reachable no other way.

A Gay Pride Celebration in Ireland
Tailor-made VacationSome of the best Pride celebrations in the world are also some of the smallest, built around a single parade route, a handful of familiar bars, and a city that turns out in full for one day a year, and Ireland's are proof of it. Its Pride season plays out in its cities rather than along its coastline, and it favors travelers who know where to look.

Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Adventure: Surf, Coasteering & Cliffs
Tailor-made VacationIreland's wildest coastline runs for more than a thousand miles, from the sea stacks and cliffs of Donegal down through Sligo and Mayo to the limestone shelves of County Clare, a landscape shaped by Atlantic swell, sheer rock, and light that shifts by the hour.
